"I honestly never expected the type of attention that both my tweet and my Facebook post about my displeasure with the Royal Rumble would bring. I was just expressing an opinion, and it seemed to be in line with what many of you had on your mind last night as well. The response on both Twitter and Facebook dwarfed anything I'd received in the past, and I hope WWE will recognize this unprecedented response as a sign that a little tweaking might be needed in order to save this Wrestlemania from the prospect of 75,000 people booing, turning their backs, or walking out of its main event."

"My official contract with WWE runs out soon, but we have mutually agreed to continue to work together on a case-by-case handshake deal - the same way I did some of my best work (remember the 2004 Randy Orton program) with WWE in the past. The only minor difference (other than not getting a weekly check...ouch) is that I will work prospective WWE dates and projects around my schedule, instead of working my schedule around prospective dates. With the success of my live shows (thanks everyone) I needed more flexability in my schedule. But WWE has shown some interest in partnering with me on these live shows in the future, and a WWE produced, first-class, multi-media one-man Mick Foley show has always been my long-term goal. As WWE showed with the roll-out of the new network, when they go into something, they go ALL in - and I'm crossing my fingers, hoping they'll go ALL in on a fall 2014 15th anniversery "HAVE A NICE DAY" production - even if it's just for a limited run."
"Well I think in Randy's case, I think Randy he was pissed. I don't think he really wanted to go in. That's just my observation from a far. I never heard that from Randy but I'm sure now that the great Randy Savage has passed on, at some point he will be put in there. But I think there was--you have to accept. You have to go there and show up. And there was some heat there. And I think it was just about to get fixed too, just like the Warrior had a lot of heat there. I think he absolutely would've gone in. Maybe this year cause Randy was just coming out--when he died, Randy was just starting to come out. About to do a comic-con and stuff; do some autograph signings and stuff. So I think you would have seen him in there. Right after; not too long after his death, I don't think it had to happen right away but I would imagine that Randy will be in there. And I believe that Jake Roberts will get in. I think I'll get in. I think there will be a lot of guys that will get in there from Kevin Nash, Scott Hall. I think a lot of those guys will get in. Sometimes it just takes time and I think that Jake doing his turn around that he's done over these last 16-17 months--or 16 months I think it is--people are buzzing everywhere about Jake. So I think at some point, it would be awesome if it was this year but who knows? You never know."
"I don't know if there's going to be a true split between the SHIELD. or if the weeks long rift is going to turn out to be a false alarm. I think there has to be an eventual parting of the ways, if only because it's been obvious from the start that all three members - Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose had promising singles careers ahead of them. But if/when that split happens, the WWE Universe will be ready for it. In a business where things seem to move at warp speed, where we sometimes are in such a hurry to turn out a product that we forget to take our time with it, storylines can often jump onto our screens on our screen like a quick, microwaved meal - they gets the job done, but without any real passion in the craftsmanship, and ultimately, completey unmemorable. But WWE has taken the time to put the right spices into this angle, and when it emerges from the oven, it's going to fully seasoned, and baked with that old world cratsmanship - something we can all savor for a while."

"Mick and I wanted that match to be something different. We had no background together. We didn't know if we were going to have chemistry. Both of us wanted to make a WWE Championship Match that wasn't typical of the business at the time. Mankind was an opponent with a rugged style that Shawn Michaels had never faced before. Had we not tried to add those extra elements, it wouldn't have felt special. I wasn't a fan of having a definite 'style.' I get that there are different styles, and some guys do things a certain way but, as a fan, I don't prefer one over another. So, throughout my whole career, it always made sense to go out and try to mix things up. One of the easiest ways to keep people from saying, 'It's the same old thing,' is to not continually do the same thing."
