Back in the summer of 2012, Kenny King allegedly walked away from a handshake deal with ROH in order to sign a contract with TNA. Jim Cornette has not forgotten that. During a recent interview, he called King the biggest liar in professional wrestling. The legendary manager also bashed King for being a stripper when he is not wrestling. Cornette was very much against Ring of Honor allowing King to make a return recently.

In a move that doesn't come as a shock to many, Kenny King has apparently left TNA. No details have been revealed, but he showed up at the ROH pay per view this week. His previous contract allowed him to work Impact Wrestling episodes and on independent wrestling shows that are not being televised. Showing up in Ring of Honor is a sign that he is no longer working for Total Nonstop Action.

Based on how the company gave him a fairly prominent role almost immediately, it is safe to assume that TNA likes Kenny King. If that was not enough proof, then the contract extension that they just handed him should help to further cement that notion. The high flying star is sticking around with the company for at least another year. Terms of the deal were not released, as is usually the case. He is expected to remain a top heel.
