Bryan Clark, Ernest Miller, Glacier and Chris Kanyon were given characters that were part MMA fighters and part superheroes.

During a recent interview, Ken Shamrock was asked to compare Vince McMahon and Dana White. The MMA legend stated that it was easier to work for the WWE CEO than it was to work with the UFC president. McMahon and White are both known for being quite eccentric. The belief is that Shamrock chose McMahon because he wants back in with the company.

Dixie Carter
After his big MMA fight in May against King Mo, Rampage Jackson will start training for professional wrestling. Bjorn Rebney, the CEO of Bellator, stated that he has hired coaches and trainers to come in and teach Jackson the finer points of being a wrestler. He also noted that he keeps in contact with Dixie Carter, so Jackson will be working with TNA again soon.

CM Punk was not the only former WWE star that attended the UFC event in Las Vegas over the weekend. Steve Austin was there as well. He has been frequently spotted at MMA shows, especially back when Brock Lesnar was still fighting. No word yet on whether or not Punk and Austin got together for a discussion that night.

MMA fighters Jason Miller and Phil Baroni are calling out CM Punk over Twitter. The two former UFC stars each posted a message recently about the former WWE star. Miller appears to be joking, as he mentioned that the fight should be in a Dairy Queen parking lot. However, Baroni is more straight forward and stated that the fight can happen in Bellator.

While Vince McMahon does not publicly admit that the two companies are competing for revenue, WWE is currently concerned about UFC, as the two promotions are holding events at the American Airlines Center in Dallas in March. While some would believe that Bellator would send him to Impact Wrestling to do some promotional work, there appears to be very little talk within TNA of that happening. A little bit of controversy erupted over the weekend, as AJ Styles injured Lionheart during a match in England. The British wrestler broke his neck in two separate places because of a botched Styles Clash. There was some heat on Styles for not checking on his opponent, but Kassius Ohno revealed that Styles had no idea that Lionheart was injured.
