Rumors over the past several weeks have stated that Heath Slater was unhappy backstage because he was not receiving a push. However, his absence on this show was unrelated, as Slater missed the show because he is heading to Saudi Arabia for a tour with WWE.

When several of the WWE stars take off for Saudi Arabia this week, Sami Zayn will be joining them. He's the only developmental wrestler going on the tour. WWE wanted to get a better look at him, and some backstage feel that he might have some marketing appeal overseas. There are still rumors floating around that Zayn could be one of the WWE NXT stars to be called up to the main roster in the coming weeks.

Since he is currently on his honeymoon with Brie Bella, Daniel Bryan is not on the list of WWE stars who are heading over to Saudi Arabia this week for a quick tour. Management event allowed him to skip Monday Night Raw and Smackdown this week, despite being the world heavyweight champion. He is expected to be be with WWE by next Monday.

Since they really are best friends in real life, Trish Stratus and Lita have decided to capitalize on that relationship by doing a tour together. The former WWE divas will be hitting up various locations across the country to meet with fans and sign autographs. While he is not quite a full time performer for the company, Rob Van Dam has opted to head to Europe with WWE for a tour in May. There will be an episode of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown taped in London during this stretch, so most of the performers in WWE will be on hand for the tour. Rumors have it that RVD will be sticking around for a couple of months like last time.

Earlier today, it was reported that Paul London was heading to Europe for a tour, and it has now been revealed that Brian Kendrick is joining him. The former WWE stars have been booked by a promotion called Southside Wrestling, where they will be working a show next weekend.
