At the end of the year, the long businesss relationship between TNA and Spike will be coming to an end. Dixie Carter, however, has only filmed enough episodes of Impact Wrestling to last until the middle of November. Reports have surfaced that the company will simply rely on recap shows during the final month of the year, as they make the transition to what hopefully will be a new home.

Through social media, Gene Snitsky has expressed his dissatisfaction with TNA for not bringing him on board full time. He did a couple of segments on Impact Wrestling this summer, but management has opted to remain fiscally responsible, as they are still trying to secure a new television contract. Reports have surfaced that TNA will announce their new television deal before the end of October. It is being said that Dixie Carter has informed business partners that an announcement is coming soon, in hopes of alleviating some of the concerns that they currently have with Impact Wrestling. Back in June, Brodus Clay was given a release by WWE, so he informed his fans that his professional wrestling career was far from over. After exploring his options in Japan, the former bodyguard for Snoop Dogg decided to remain stateside by signing with TNA. He made his television debut for the company this week on Impact Wrestling by aligning himself with Ethan Carter and defeating Shark Boy in a match.

While there are natural concerns over the company stability, a lot of the wrestlers are rumored to feel a bit relieved due to the fact that Dixie Carter and her staff are continuing to expand TNA into other countries. It has now been revealed by the company that they have signed new television contracts that will enable them to gain viewers in Malaysia and Singapore. While he has some resentment towards the company for letting him away, the door has not yet been completely closed on AJ Styles making a return to TNA next year. He enjoys working in Japan but would much rather be closer to his family at all times. Once Impact Wrestling secures a new home and the company can afford to hand out big contracts again, Styles could be one of the names brought back.

That led to some speculations from fans as to whether or not it is a story line. Unfortunately, the injury is a legitimate one. Joe has been having some problems with his shoulders. He might still try to work through the pain and perform at Bound For Glory 2014, though.

Congratulations to Mickie James and Brutus Magnus. They're now parents to a new baby boy named Donovan Patrick Aldis. Mickie has been on a hiatus since becoming pregnant, only making sporadic appearances during the beginning. Magnus is expected to still be on the road with TNA, but that schedule is a bit easier now that the company is taping Impact Wrestling in advance.

Rumors surfaced this week that Dixie Carter was going to make an announcement about the new network that Impact Wrestling would be moving to. However, at the last minute, Country Music Television has emerged as a strong candidate to land the weekly TNA show. The network is under the same corporate umbrella as their current home, Spike. CMT is available in close to 100 million homes.

During a recent interview, Vince Russo bashed Spike TV a bit because he felt that they did not do enough to promote Impact Wrestling for TNA. David Schwarz, who happens to be the Senior Vice President of Communications for the network, decided to respond by saying that Spike has helped to finance a lot of the moves by TNA. He also noted that Impact Wrestling was given a prime 2 hour spot on Thursday night. The most interesting comment, however, is that Schwarz flat out stated that no one at Spike cares whatsoever about Russo.

Fans went crazy as they saw creative signature spots from Randy Orton, Sheamus, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kane and Bray Wyatt. However, it was Cena, much to the dismay of online WWE fans, who climbed the ladder and captured the heavyweight championship.

In a very exciting match, Seth Rollins outlasted Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam and Jack Swagger to capture the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. WWE wants to continue the war between Ambrose and the Authority, so they had Kane coming out and providing assistance to Rollins. Despite the heel tactic to win the match, the Rollins victory was actually cheered by a good amount of fans.

Thanks to the help of Kane, Seth Rollins was able to climb the ladder uninterrupted and win the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. The Big Red Monster came to the ring and attacked Dean Ambrose to clear the path. Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam were all laid out on the floor during the finale. WWE power couple Triple H and Stephanie McMahon came out afterwards to congratulate Rollins.

A somewhat interesting thing took place backstage at Monday Night Raw this week. Naomi Knight took a picture of herself with Kevin Hart and uploaded it to Instagram. However, the WWE diva made the mistake of including John Cena and Kane, who are fighting in the story line, in the background. Luckily, she was able to remove and edit the photo before management caught on.

Ever since it happened on Monday Night Raw, WWE fans have been raving about the Seth Rollins heel turn because it was considered a surprise to many. The reason for that, however, is because it was a surprise to those backstage as well. The script for the show did not include that segment initially. John Cena and Kane were supposed to be in the final spot, but WWE quickly changed their minds and had Rollins turn on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns instead.

It looks like WWE wants to promote Roman Reigns as a top star during the upcoming tour of Japan. Management is booking him in singles matches against Kane, a performer that Japanese fans are aware of. Reigns will more than likely be going over in those bouts. WWE is also booking Reigns for a tag team match with John Cena during the tour as well, which should give him a little more credibility with the overseas fans.

On Monday Night Raw this week, Brad Maddox was called out by Stephanie McMahon, Kane and Triple H. He was attacked and fired as the general manager of Monday Night Raw. That has led to plenty of rumors and speculations about his future with the company. As of right now, Maddox is still employed by WWE and this is simply just a story line.

As many already know, Daniel Bryan will be having neck surgery on Thursday, so he was removed from the tour of Europe that WWE is currently doing. The world heavyweight champion was supposed to headline one side of the tour, so management is scrambling to readjust the shows. Kane was originally supposed to have been working with Bryan, but a new main event is needed now.

Shortly after he announced on Monday Night Raw that he was taking time off to have surgery, rumors sprung up that Daniel Bryan did a lot of damage to his neck by doing the flying headbutt off of the forklift on Kane at Extreme Rules 2014. Some within WWE are denying that by saying that the neck was damaged by years of working a stiff style on the independent wrestling circuit.

Since Kane is scheduled to be working a Buried Alive match against Daniel Bryan at Payback 2014, rumors are floating around that this could be how WWE writes the Big Red Machine out of the story line for a couple of weeks. At the end of the Extreme Rules 2014 main event, WWE fans witnessed Kane being put through a burning table, which he actually set up himself, by Daniel Bryan. Aside from giving Bryan a highlight, WWE also went with this route, in order to keep Kane strong in defeat. There are talks that a rematch could take place at Payback 2014.

The heavyweight champion used the vehicle to cart Kane back to the ring. Bryan also used it as a platform for his flying headbutt finisher, which Kane kicked out of.

In a match filled with quite a few over the top spots, Daniel Bryan successfully retained the WWE Championship by defeating Kane at Extreme Rules 2014. A running knee followed by a pin enabled Bryan to get the pin fall victory over Kane. Prior to that spot, Kane was put through a burning table and carried on a forklift, among other things.

To give you an idea of just how predictable many believe the match between Daniel Bryan and Kane to be, some sites are not accepting bets on the Extreme Rules 2014 main event. Betting will proceed as normal for the other matches, however. The only other really predictable choice is that Alexander Rusev will squash Xavier Woods and R Truth.
