Maria Kanellis to NXT

Despite already having a good amount of experience wrestling on the main roster in WWE, Maria Kanellis recently revealed that she would more be more than enthusiastic to sign a deal and work in NXT. The brand is receiving universal praise for allow the female performers the opportunity to showcase their skills, something that AJ Lee has publicly complained about. Maria is currently with ROH, but the promotion cannot afford a long term contract.

Maria Kanellis defends CM Punk

Long before Mike Bennett and AJ Lee came into their lives respectively, Maria Kanellis and CM Punk were an item. During a recent interview, the former was asked about the latter leaving WWE and signing a contract with UFC. She defended her former boyfriend by stating that his body was beat up quite a bit because he was on the road more than a lot of the other stars. Maria also stated that Punk was not treated as well as some of the other top stars.

Since there are financial restrictions being placed on ROH, Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett are both working without a contract at the moment. Other promotions have taken notice and are targeting them for deals. Their popularity has risen enough that New Japan has expressed interest in signing them. The belief is that the real life couple is interested in the deal on a short term basis, as they have other options available in the United States.

WWE blocking Jim Ross

For those of you that are wondering, Jim Ross is still not on great terms with WWE. In addition to him helping out Jeff Jarrett at the first GFW pay per view, management is also still blocking their former commentator from having contracted performers doing his podcast interviews. A fan recently asked Ross if he had any plans on interviewing Kane, and the hall of fame announcer revealed that he was still not allowed to talk to their performers.

Maria Kanellis to TNA

Reports have surfaced that Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett are working in ROH without a contract. Their deals expired, and they are sticking around on a handshake agreement. The belief is that the couple will start negotiating with TNA very soon, as negotiations with Ring of Honor have not come to fruition just yet. Plus, the real life married couple is hoping to gain a bit more exposure, which Impact Wrestling can provide since it is a national show.
