Jeff Jarrett
Some buzz was created earlier this week when it was discovered that Jeff Jarrett was meeting with ROH officials. Reports have now surfaced that the two sides discussed doing talent exchanges for various shows. Jarrett also wanted Ring of Honor to loosen up their contractual clause that prevents their performers from appearing on television and pay per view for other promotions, as he is interested in utilizing ROH performers on that big New Japan pay per view in January.

John Cena
Even though he could possibly still be with WWE for the next several years, John Cena is now taking steps to ensure that he will have income after his wrestling days are over. The former heavyweight champion has partnered up with Leftfield Pictures, and they are going to be producing a variety of reality television shows to shop to the networks. Leftfield Pictures has had much success with Pawn Stars.

AJ Lee
There are reports floating around right now that the reason why AJ Lee was not chosen to be a cast member on Total Divas is because she is married to CM Punk. However, she has repeatedly stated in the past that she was not interested in doing a reality television show. She enjoys her privacy and prefers to focus on being a wrestler. Management recently added Alicia Fox and Paige to the series.

Vince McMahon
Chalk up another victory for Vince McMahon and his quest to draw in a younger audience. The company has reached a deal with Nickelodeon. The network will start airing episodes of Slam City this week. For those that are not aware, it is a cartoon based on the WWE performers getting jobs outside of wrestling. It had previously been airing solely on the WWE Network, but it is now available on television.
October 21, 2014
Alicia Fox
The expanding cast of Total Divas will include Alicia Fox next season. WWE has decided to include as many of their female performers as possible on the show, and Alicia was quite willing to sign up for the reality television show. For a lot of the girls, the hope is that the extra exposure will help them build up their name value for when they eventually leave the company and pursue other things.

Gene Snitsky
Through social media, Gene Snitsky has expressed his dissatisfaction with TNA for not bringing him on board full time. He did a couple of segments on Impact Wrestling this summer, but management has opted to remain fiscally responsible, as they are still trying to secure a new television contract. The company is expected to start signing wrestlers are that happens.
October 19, 2014
Dixie Carter
Reports have surfaced that TNA will announce their new television deal before the end of October. It is being said that Dixie Carter has informed business partners that an announcement is coming soon, in hopes of alleviating some of the concerns that they currently have with Impact Wrestling. Still no word yet on which network the company will be signing on with, though.

Brodus Clay
Back in June, Brodus Clay was given a release by WWE, so he informed his fans that his professional wrestling career was far from over. After exploring his options in Japan, the former bodyguard for Snoop Dogg decided to remain stateside by signing with TNA. He made his television debut for the company this week on Impact Wrestling by aligning himself with Ethan Carter and defeating Shark Boy in a match.
October 16, 2014
Adrian Neville
WWE officials are a lot more observant than fans think that they are. The company routinely monitors the audience reaction to certain performers. As of late, management has noticed that the ovations that Adrian Neville has been receiving when working with the main roster has been superb. On some nights, he gets more of a reaction than the guys that have been on television regularly.
October 15, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
While there has not been a ton of details revealed from the deal between New Japan Pro Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling, there are reports that have surfaced that Jeff Jarrett is looking to distribute content from the overseas promotion across the United States. His ability to do that would greatly increase if he were able to secure a national television deal, which he is rumored to have been working on over the past couple of months.
October 14, 2014
Mike Tenay
Another person that could be walking away from TNA in the near future is Mike Tenay, their longtime play by play commentator. His contract with the company expires in January, so he is expected to work until then. Many within the industry believe that a new television deal will be finalized and announced before then, so a contract extension for Tenay would not be out of the question.
October 14, 2014
Samoa Joe
Reports have surfaced that Samoa Joe and TNA parted ways after Bound For Glory 2014 once the contract between the two sides expired. As many already know, the company has been allowing top level performers to walk away because they simply do not want to make big financial commitments until a new television deal is secured. The belief is that Joe could be brought back on board once a new home on television has been found.
October 14, 2014
Brad Maddox
An interesting return took place at a WWE live event in Macon, Georgia this week. Brad Maddox came out and worked a match. He had previously been pulled from television when management dropped his on screen character. Since he was given a match to work, the speculation is that the company will finally give him a chance to be a full time performer on the main roster.
October 12, 2014
Alexander Rusev
While he does not have a story line or a feud on Monday Night Raw, Bray Wyatt has been working against Big Show, most recently during the brief tour of Malaysia. That has led to speculations that the two of them could be bringing that feud to television soon. However, Big Show is expected to put over Alexander Rusev, which would bring him down a notch. Management is concerned about putting Wyatt against mid card performers after moving him all the way up to John Cena.

Jeff Jarrett
There is a lot of interest in the upcoming pay per view event that Jeff Jarrett is doing in January. Performers within the entire industry are rooting for Global Force Wrestling to do well with their first show. Wrestlers have long been hoping for another place for potential employment, as WWE remains the top company and TNA is reportedly scaling back on salaries until they sign a new television deal.
October 9, 2014
Alexander Rusev
One of the reasons why WWE issued an apology in regards to the recent segment featuring Big Show and Alexander Rusev is because they have television shows in that country. The flag incident did make the news, but it was not considered a big deal over there because many are aware that it was simply an act. It also helps that there is a Russian loyalist character being booked strong.
October 9, 2014
Hulk Hogan
When it was announced that the two sides had reached a contract agreement for a return, many were under the impression that we would be seeing plenty of Hulk Hogan on WWE television. However, management has opted against utilizing him too frequently. The belief is that financial restrictions are a big reason why the company has opted to use him only for special events.
October 9, 2014
Bray Wyatt
Since management really likes the character and wants him back on television and pay per view events, there are talks of doing a baby face turn with Bray Wyatt. WWE ran out of top level opponents for him to work against once he was done with John Cena and Chris Jericho. Wyatt would have a couple of fresh heel opponents to work against if he were to switch sides.
October 9, 2014
Paul Heyman
Even though he is one of the most popular and entertaining performers, WWE is planning on keeping Paul Heyman off of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown until at least January. The belief is that management does not want to draw attention to the fact that their world heavyweight champion is not around for television shows. Lesnar and Heyman should be back in time to promote Royal Rumble 2015.
October 9, 2014
CM Punk
Reports have surfaced this week that TNA had made a big contract offer to CM Punk to join the company. Management has long been interested in acquiring the former world heavyweight champion, but they needed to wait until his deal with WWE expired, in order to avoid a potential tampering lawsuit. Punk has a good amount of name value and would be quite appealing to television networks.

Tyler Reks
"If you're not on the radar, he doesn't care about you. I got belittled by him quite a bit. When I came back as T. Reks, that was Vince. Next thing you know, I was Johnny's best friend. And when all that ended, he wouldn't give me the time of day. He is not a nice person. He is all strictly business." - Tyler Reks discusses John Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon backstage

Joey Ryan

"Right. I think he, and I'm not inside his head, but for whatever reason I hear from a lot of guys that he has a little chip on his shoulder about certain guys. I think, it's one of those things where he always wanted guys to be on their defenses around him and I never really was because I was really comfortable there, especially when I got WWE agents that were putting me over to him, members of creative and stuff like that. So I was always comfortable because I knew I had all these people that were putting me over to him, so I think he kind of didn't like that. I don't know him personally. I haven't talked to him more than this interview backstage kind of thing, but I always got the feeling that he was upset about how un-nervous or how comfortable I was there and not like a yes sir, no sir kind of thing. It's his prerogative or whatever. He was in charge. So, for whatever reason it was, he just never, he always kind of had a chip on his shoulder towards me."
