In what was a tremendous match as expected, John Cena was able to defeat Kevin Owens, who was protected by WWE because he survived two Attitude Adjustment moves. Owens assaulted Cena during their post match handshake. This could be a sign that management is putting together a rubber match between the two of them.

To the internet wrestling community, it was just another day when John Cena pointed to a cancer patient in the audience and told the kid to keep on fighting. That is because he helps children around the world on a near daily basis. However, the mainstream media isn't as familiar with the United States Heavyweight Champion, so a lot of outlets started covering the story, which brought in some free and welcomed publicity for WWE.

In a rather interesting development, WWE has decided to pull Kevin Owens from the upcoming series of live events. The numbers were inaccurate, and the longtime WWE star took to social media to clear up the rumors. Cena stated that he was lifting closer to 396 pounds. The reason that he decided to respond to the story was because it was spreading around the internet wrestling community rather rapidly.

Further fuel was added to the fire because management opted to reschedule a live event that was taking place on the same day. John Cena and Rusev were originally scheduled to be approximately 1100 miles away from the pay per view, so the changes were necessary.
