On Monday Night Raw, we found out that Seth Rollins is going to be defending the WWE Heavyweight Championship against Sting at Night of Champions. Management still has not made an official statement on the status of the United States Heavyweight Championship yet, but the belief is that Rollins will be doing double duty at the pay per view. John Cena is a candidate to get a title rematch that night.

To promote his Straight Outta Compton movie, Ice Cube went on ESPN and critiqued celebrity rappers. When asked about John Cena, the founding member of the NWA stated that the wrestling star was a fool but an impressive one. Cube also mentioned that Cena had a little bit of LL Cool in him. The rapper feels that the former world heavyweight champion needs to be a bit wilder with his music.

While much of the internet wrestling community is against the idea of it eventually happening, Ric Flair himself actually has no qualms about John Cena potentially breaking his record for the most amount of world heavyweight championship title reigns. Not wanting to disappoint his fans, John Cena is said to be quite adamant about working his match against Seth Rollins at Summerslam. He publicly stated on Tough Enough that he was ready, which sounds like he has yet to be cleared. Cena also mentioned that Triple H would not be a good odds maker because he does not think that the United States Heavyweight Champion can come back.

There is a very good chance that John Cena might not heal quick enough to work Summerslam, so WWE has a couple of backup plans in place. The first one is simply to have Randy Orton challenging for the world heavyweight championship. If the front office does not feel that the match would be much of a draw, then there is a chance that they might add Sheamus and make it a triple threat.

As a sign of how much of a draw that he remains despite not being in the main event scene, WWE offered fans in Australia a refund since John Cena could not work the live event. Management studies the numbers, so they know that there is a good amount of wrestling fans who attend their shows to see the United States Heavyweight Champion in action.

In a sign that his broken nose injury might be a lot more serious than the internet wrestling community believes, John Cena has not only been pulled from live events and telvision, the United States Heavyweight Champion has also been removed from the upcoming tour of Australia. That is a pretty serious move because WWE knows that Cena is quite the draw in that country.
