At a promotional event in New Jersey on Saturday, Hogan told the audience that he was training for another match. He also stated that he wanted it to be against John Cena. Hogan is in no shape to work another match, so the belief is that he's just creating a buzz.

John Cena
"He is a pro. He comes to work everyday. He is straight forward and tells you exactly what it is. One of my things was I didn't get to work a match with him. I would have dropped the weight I did and keep the muscle I have. He is a great leader in terms of he talks it; he walks it. He is the face of the WWE and likely so. John Cena gave us all an opportunity to train and have the same training regiment. The training of the NBA and NFL with Olympic lifts for maintenance, for power, better cardiovascular. He was on the forefront. He gave guys an opportunity." - Brodus Clay defending John Cena

John Cena

"John's been great. I've been able to work out of his gym the last few years now and kind of pick his brain at times as well. He has given me advice and little things to make me better throughout the years. One of the things he told me 'owning the moment.' When you're out there, you really do have an opportunity to make a memorable moment. That's kind of one of the things I learned from him."

Mick Foley
With the amount of punishment that his body went through during his long professional wrestling career, Mick Foley understandably prefers that his children not follow his footsteps. However, that is exactly what is happening. Noelle Foley is reportedly training to become an in ring performer. The 20 year old is said to be training somewhere in the Long Island area.
October 12, 2014
Bret Hart
Some interesting stuff came out of a recent interview that Mark Henry did with Newsday. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that he met Rock in Canada while he was playing professional football. Henry was up there training with Bret Hart and his family. Henry recruited Rock into joining WWE with him. While they were in developmental, the two of them even shared an apartment.
October 11, 2014
Jim Ross
A lot of buzz was created recently when Steve Austin mentioned that he was training for a comeback with WWE. Jim Ross, who happens to be very close friends with Austin, decided to douse some water on those rumors. The legendary commentator stated that Austin might not necessarily be in shape enough to work Wrestlemania 31. He also stated that there is a chance that Austin does not wrestle at all.

Steve Austin
With fans clamoring for his return for much of the past decade, Steve Austin has finally provided some concrete news on a potential comeback to WWE. The former world heavyweight champion casually mentioned that he was training for a potential comeback during an interview on his podcast show. Nothing is set in stone right now, and a lot will depend on how Austin's body holds up during the training.
October 5, 2014
Jake Roberts
In addition to making an appearance at an independent wrestling show produced by Kizarny, Jake Roberts also spent the time to help train some of the wrestlers at the event. The WWE legend even got physically involved in the training, so that's great news for those of us who were quite concerned when he was in the hospital for a week.
September 11, 2014
Brie Bella
While she is not doing a practice match with Brie Bella before Summerslam 2014, Stephanie McMahon is actually putting in a lot of hours training with Triple H. The couple routinely work out together, so it makes sense for him to put in some ring time with his wife. The match is not expected to last very long, and a surprise ending is still being planned.
August 15, 2014
Kevin Steen
Rumors have persisted over the last several months that Kevin Steen was set to sign a developmental contract with WWE. It looks to be official now, as the former ROH champion has posed for a picture with Triple H while wearing a WWE NXT shirt. The belief is that he will be focusing more on his weight and physique than actually training for the in ring stuff.
August 12, 2014
Ricardo Rodriguez
When Ricardo Rodriguez asked for his release from WWE, he told his side of the story. He wanted to wrestle again. Reports are now surfacing that the other side of the story involves his weight. Management wanted him to get to a certain number, but Rodriguez had trouble getting to that point. Thus, officials refused to give him the chance that he had been training for.
August 10, 2014
Hulk Hogan
While a lot of fans are still under the impression that Hulk Hogan is really training to make an in ring return for WWE, no discussions are taking place within the company, as many people are already aware that the former world heavyweight champion is in no shape to wrestle. Vince McMahon would gladly pull the trigger on something like this since it would generate a ton of publicity, but he knows it will not be taking place.
August 8, 2014
Shannon Moore
Earlier in the year, Shannon Moore started training again after taking some time to heal his body. The belief was that he wanted to do another good run on the independent wrestling circuit. However, it now appears that he has retired as an in ring performer. Moore opened up a wrestling school in Florida, and he recently mentioned that he was moving.
August 3, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
A day before the company is expected to eliminate a lot of jobs, WWE has come to terms on the release of Ricardo Rodriguez, who stated that the decision belonged to him. The former manager of Alberto Del Rio reiterated that he wanted to be an in ring performer again. Rodriguez had been training in developmental in hopes that management would finally give him a chance. When that opportunity appeared dismal, he opted to move on to the next chapter of his career.
July 30, 2014
Tensai
With his in ring career fully behind him now, Tensai has been slowly gaining power backstage in WWE. He impressed management with his ability to function as a color commentator. Now, he has convinced them to let him have a bigger part in the company by training the developmental wrestlers. WWE likes the fact that Tensai has worked overseas and is familiar with a lot of different styles of wrestling.
July 26, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
"He just signed with us. I was there when he had his tryout at the WWE Performance Center and I met with him there. We've been working on this for a while. His training will start when he gets here. The thing is, you can be a big star anyplace else in the world. That gets you in the door. What you do once you get here is a whole different ballgame. He's no different than anybody else once he walks through the door of the Performance Center." - Triple H on how Kenta Kobayashi will be treated in WWE
July 17, 2014
Michelle McCool
While she still has every intention of being a stay at home mother and wife, Michelle McCool decided to get out of the house on Monday. She made a visit to the WWE Performance Center. No word yet on why she was there this time around, but she has been known to drop in and help do a little training with the developmental divas. Her appearances always spark rumors of a return to WWE, so don't be surprised if the chatter increases over the next few days.
June 24, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
If things go as planned, WWE could have themselves three new stars on the main roster by 2015. Prince Devitt, Kevin Steen and Kenta Kobayashi are rumored to have been signed to developmental contracts with the company. All three need work visas to be completed, but they're expected to start training before the summer ends. Devitt, Steen and Kobayashi are viewed as three of the top international stars available.

The feud would be heavily featured on Total Divas if it takes place.

Rock
The Samoan presence in WWE has just gotten a little bit stronger, as Savelina Fanene is now under a developmental contract with the company. She is related to the Rock and does have an athletic background. Savelina recently noted on Instagram that she had moved to Orlando, where she will be training for the next year at the WWE Performance Center.

Through Instagram, the Rock informed his fans that he has started shooting the new San Andreas film. The movie will be about the biggest earthquake to ever hit the city of Los Angeles. April 25, 2014
Devon
Fans have been curious about the status of Devon since he parted ways with TNA last year. The former world tag team champion has been spending a lot of time with his family. Devon has also been doing a lot of work at his wrestling school, where he has been actively training wrestlers now. The former WWE star also wrestles occasionally on the independent circuit.
April 24, 2014
Dean Ambrose
WWE is promoting Hell in a Cell 2014 as having a double main event, and the reason behind that is simple. They do not believe that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are proven draws yet, even with the big steel structure and a highly entertaining feud behind them. Thus, the reliance on John Cena and Randy Orton, two guys that the company has relied on for years now, to help sell the pay per view.
October 14, 2014
Lana
A lot of speculation has arisen ever since Rock made a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw and worked a segment with Alexander Rusev and Lana. Many are under the impression that a match between the two could take place at Wrestlemania 31. However, WWE does not appear to be heading in that direction. Rusev is still penciled in for a high profile match against John Cena at the pay per view.
October 12, 2014
John Cena
While he does not have a story line or a feud on Monday Night Raw, Bray Wyatt has been working against Big Show, most recently during the brief tour of Malaysia. That has led to speculations that the two of them could be bringing that feud to television soon. However, Big Show is expected to put over Alexander Rusev, which would bring him down a notch. Management is concerned about putting Wyatt against mid card performers after moving him all the way up to John Cena.
October 11, 2014
John Cena
Since management really likes the character and wants him back on television and pay per view events, there are talks of doing a baby face turn with Bray Wyatt. WWE ran out of top level opponents for him to work against once he was done with John Cena and Chris Jericho. Wyatt would have a couple of fresh heel opponents to work against if he were to switch sides.
October 9, 2014
Roman Reigns
If you're a big fan of Roman Reigns and want to see WWE continue to push him, then there's some really good news from the merchandise department. His products are the second best selling ones at live events across the country. Management uses that as a big gauge for who they continue to push. John Cena remains the leading seller by a landslide, however.
October 9, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a sign of how rapidly Alexander Rusev is rising through the ranks, management now has him penciled in a high profile match at Wrestlemania 31 against John Cena. The Russian loyalist is expected to be built up in upcoming matches against Big Show and possibly Sheamus before starting his feud with Cena. The early bet is that Cena will be the one to end the reign of terror by Rusev.
October 9, 2014
John Cena
Since he is not scheduled to win the big battle royal, it looks like WWE wants to utilize John Cena in the main title match at Royal Rumble 2015 instead. A rematch between Cena and Brock Lesnar is now scheduled to take place at the pay per view. Management knows that they do not have a lot of credible opponents for the former UFC champion, so they are going back to the Cena well once again.
October 9, 2014
Dean Ambrose
On Monday Night Raw, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announced that John Cena and Dean Ambrose would be facing one another in a match at Hell in a Cell 2014, and the winner would get to work the main event against Seth Rollins in the gigantic steel structure. Rumors are still floating around that the loser of the match will be given Randy Orton as a consolation prize.
October 7, 2014
Seth Rollins
While WWE is still trying to finalize plans for Hell in a Cell 2014, one thing is certain. Seth Rollins is going to be working a match inside of the huge steel structure. His opponent will either be John Cena or Dean Ambrose. Management has not yet made a decision on that, but the belief is that Cena has the advantage because he has been more of a proven draw over the years, and the pay per view desperately needs that drawing power since Brock Lesnar and the WWE title are not going to be present.
September 30, 2014
Randy Orton
For the past 24 years, Pro Wrestling Illustrated has listed the top 500 performers in the industry. Despite being injured, Daniel Bryan was given the top honor this year. It is the first time that he has been ranked as the top wrestler in the world. He managed to beat out fellow WWE stars, Randy Orton and John Cena. Among the notable newer performers in the top ten were Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns.
September 26, 2014
John Cena
Reports have surfaced that Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to work Hell in a Cell 2014. The WWE champion has caused quite a headache for the front office. Management has to be selective about when they use him because they have to pay him accordingly. The creative department has a dilemma because they know that they cannot keep having Lesnar wrestle John Cena, and there's not a lot of performers on the roster that has enough name value to work with Lesnar.
September 25, 2014
Brock Lesnar
There is some disarray backstage in WWE right now as to what to do with the main event of Hell in a Cell 2014. Some think that John Cena and Brock Lesnar should have a title rematch in the gigantic steel structure. However, there are enough people who are opposed to the idea that management had to scrap all plans involving Lesnar and Paul Heyman on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.
September 24, 2014
John Cena
Rumors are floating around that Brock Lesnar is having some serious health issues, and it looks to have been started by a writer at What Culture. He wrote an article that detailed how Lesnar looked vulnerable very early on his match against John Cena at Night of Champions 2014. The speculations have gotten to the point where WWE felt compelled to issue an official statement saying that Lesnar is just fine.
September 24, 2014
John Cena
Some rumors floated around earlier this morning that John Cena was attacked by a fan after Monday Night Raw went off the air. However, those in attendance are telling a different story now. Eyewitnesses say that the fan jumped the rail to embrace Cena. WWE security immediately grabbed him. As they were escorting him out, Cena was informed of what was going on, so he went over there and gave the guy a high five.
September 23, 2014
John Cena
While there is a possibility that WWE does a third straight match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar, there are those backstage that are pushing for Cena to be transitioned into a feud with Seth Rollins instead. That's why the story line of Rollins attempting to cash in at Night of Champions 2014 took place. The belief is that this program will help elevate Rollins into the main event scene.
September 22, 2014
Alexander Rusev
Alexander Rusev is rapidly moving up the ladder in WWE. There are those backstage that are already pushing for him to be groomed for a feud against John Cena in the very near future. The belief is that Mark Henry, a former world heavyweight champion with some credibility with the fans, will be putting over Rusev at Night of Champions 2014.
September 17, 2014
John Cena
Fans were a bit puzzled in regards to how Monday Night Raw was booked this week. John Cena kept telling fans that Paul Heyman only had until halftime to produce Brock Lesnar before an attack would happen. The incident took place closer to the two hour mark than halfway through the show. Reports have surfaced that WWE did this because Vince McMahon wanted to draw in viewers from the NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles. He used Lesnar and Cena, two of the bigger names in wrestling, to try to get fans to switch channels during halftime of the game.
September 16, 2014
John Cena
While a lot of fans still have a hard time understanding why he is pushed so heavily by WWE, John Cena continues to rack up the numbers to let management know that they are making the right choice. Reports have surfaced that live events featuring Cena are averaging approximately $60,000 more per show than events without the former WWE champion.
September 14, 2014
Brock Lesnar
Over the last couple of weeks, there has been a bit of a struggle backstage in WWE. On one side is Vince McMahon, who wants John Cena to be booked as dominant as possible, so that fans will buy into his upcoming rematch against Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions 2014. On the other side is everyone else, who does not believe that Cena should be dominating the other performers on the roster that much.
September 12, 2014
John Cena
When he was feuding with John Cena, Bray Wyatt appeared to be a lock to remain in the WWE main event scene for quite some time. When that feud ended, he was able to maintain some momentum when Chris Jericho made his return to the company and feuded with Wyatt. Since there is a lack of top level talent in WWE, there are now talks that management could have Wyatt feuding with Dolph Ziggler over the Intercontinental Championship, even though it seems out of the norm for his character to chase a secondary belt.
