John Cena

WWE offering refunds

As a sign of how much of a draw that he remains despite not being in the main event scene, WWE offered fans in Australia a refund since John Cena could not work the live event. Management studies the numbers, so they know that there is a good amount of wrestling fans who attend their shows to see the United States Heavyweight Champion in action.

John Cena pulled

In a sign that his broken nose injury might be a lot more serious than the internet wrestling community believes, John Cena has not only been pulled from live events and telvision, the United States Heavyweight Champion has also been removed from the upcoming tour of Australia. That is a pretty serious move because WWE knows that Cena is quite the draw in that country.

Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens in main event

Despite reports earlier this week that WWE had dropped him considerably down the ladder, Kevin Owens still worked the main event at a live event with John Cena in what was said to be a very excellent match. That is a sign that the front office still has some faith in him to be able to draw in an audience. We will have to wait and see what happens on television, however.

John Cena busted nose

Over the weekend, John Cena worked a live event in Louisiana. While delivering the Attitude Adjustment to Wade Barrett, his nose ended up being busted. Despite the damage done to his face, the belief is that Cena will still be more than willing to work Money in the Bank.

In a rather interesting development, WWE has decided to pull Kevin Owens from the upcoming series of live events. Elimination Chamber changes

There are rumors floating around that Vince McMahon abruptly put together the Elimination Chamber, as a way to boost the amount of WWE Network subscribers. Further fuel was added to the fire because management opted to reschedule a live event that was taking place on the same day. John Cena and Rusev were originally scheduled to be approximately 1100 miles away from the pay per view, so the changes were necessary.

Rusev

John Cena winning

While a lot of WWE fans are overjoyed right now about the Brock Lesnar news, they are about to be brought back down to earth for a bit when they realize that the new contract means that John Cena has a better chance of winning the United States Heavyweight Championship from Rusev at Wrestlemania. Since Lesnar will still be part time, the front office wanted a belt on Cena, so that he can use it to headline live events each week.

Daniel Bryan

Brock Lesnar winning

There are talks coming out of WWE right now that if Brock Lesnar were to sign a new contract to remain with the company, then he would be rewarded with a victory over Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania. He would still be allowed to work the limited schedule that he has been on while continuing to carry the heavyweight championship. Management would then put the IC and US belt on Daniel Bryan and John Cena respectively so they can headline live events.

On the latest episode of Smackdown, Lana did not appear by the side of Rusev, who is upset with his companion because she gave into the threat by John Cena and agreed to a United States Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. She was also not with him at live events over the weekend. The belief is that the gorgeous Russian valet is going to be kept off of television until the big pay per view. She is currently filming a movie with Edge.
