On Tuesday, John Cena shocked the entire wrestling world when he announced that he had a torn rotator cuff and will require surgery. Even more shocking, the former world heavyweight champion informed all of his fans that he would not be healthy enough to work a big match at Wrestlemania. WWE will desperately need to bring in more star power because Cena was one of the biggest draws of the event.

As a sign of how seriously concerned WWE is about the health of Daniel Bryan, the company has now confirmed that he was sent home early from the tour of Europe. He worked a tag team match with John Cena during the Smackdown taping. The front office then put him on a plane, so that he can go home and recover. Officials are saying that it is a precautionary move. No word yet on when Bryan will be heading back on the road to work.

Everyone already knows that John Cena is essentially guaranteed a spot at Wrestlemania as long as he is healthy. However, there have been questions as to whom WWE will have him work with on the pay per view. Things were made a bit clearer after the Royal Rumble. During a post show segment, Cena worked a backstage interview brawl with Rusev. The feud was heavily rumored because the latter needed to fight a big name star.
