John Cena social media change

When it comes to social media, John Cena shows more of his real life personality than he does on television, and WWE is not happy about that. The United States Heavyweight Champion revealed that management has asked him to change things up so that it suits his television character a bit more. They do not want to confuse the children that follow him online.

Curtis Axel

Rusev losing US title

In order to push him higher up the ladder, WWE will eventually be required to take the United States Heavyweight Championship off of Rusev. However, people backstage do not want to see John Cena picking up the strap because it would seem like a demotion for his character. An idea being tossed around backstage is to have Cena helping another wrestler, such as Jack Swagger or Curtis Axel, win the belt from the Russian sympathizer.

John Cena age

One of the more interesting angles that WWE is doing now is the one where they are making John Cena out to be an old veteran. Reports have surfaced that there are those backstage who are critical of the former heavyweight champion for going along with the idea. They feel that he should use his backstage power to veto the move because it could end up being very bad for his character. Management is slowly demoting him.

Those were not the only two wrestlers that were being considered by WWE at the time. John Cena was the first choice, as management wanted him to reprise his character from the first movie. Roman Reigns

Brock Lesnar losing title

While some are under the impression that he has a very big ego when it comes to his character, Brock Lesnar is being said to be more than willing to put someone over by dropping the WWE championship to them. Nowadays, he views his stint in professional wrestling as just a job, which management is fine with because he can still draw in a good amount of attention to their product. Lesnar will likely drop the belt to John Cena or Roman Reigns.
