With the devastating loss of Seth Rollins, WWE has been forced to make changes to their Wrestlemania lineup. The former world heavyweight champion was scheduled for one of the main event slots. One of the ideas that has been tossed around backstage is to finally pull that trigger on a match between John Cena and Undertaker, especially since the latter is running out of performers that he can work with.

Rumors are floating around that there is backstage heat on John Cena for wanting to take time off while WWE is struggling with numbers. Those were more than likely sparked by the fact that he lost cleanly to a returning Alberto Del Rio. In actuality, though, there is said to be no issues with Cena taking time off. Management was already informed as to the reason why he is going off the road for a couple of months.

Apparently, people backstage in WWE are doing that as well. The United States Heavyweight Champion is purposely keeping it a secret from others. He lets them know that he is fine. Cena has been telling people that the reason for the break is a very good and positive one.

That means that there will be an empty spot for someone on the roster to try to claim during his absence. It is being said that many backstage are pushing for Dean Ambrose to be given that chance. After taking a second loss to John Cena, the internet wrestling community was in an uproar because they viewed that as a burial of Kevin Owens. Some are now questioning if he has backstage heat on him. While he does have some people rooting against him back there, Owens is not in trouble with WWE. Being given a victory over Cena is something that management does not routinely hand out.

There might be a good amount of backstage heat coming towards Antonio Cesaro. During his match on Monday Night Raw with John Cena, Cesaro gave the middle finger to Cena, which immediately prompted the production crew to censor that particular segment by putting up a blank screen for a second or two.

When Kevin Eck revealed that Justin Bieber was extremely interested in wrestling a match at Summerslam in 2014, he revealed the idea that was being thrown around backstage by the creative department. They wanted to do a six man tag team match, which would have enabled them to protect the untrained Bieber. He would have teamed with John Cena and Big Show. Their opponents would have been the very popular Wyatt Family.

When John Cena added a springboard Stunner to his arsenal of moves, the belief was that Vince McMahon instructed him to do that. As many of you already know, there have been reports about backstage heat between McMahon and Steve Austin. While Austin has denied those rumors, he did seem quite agitated that Cena has been doing that move. He stated that the springboard aspect makes the move a bit more dangerous for the performers.
