For the time being, Jimmy Snuka will not be going on trial for the murder of his former girlfriend. A judge has ordered the WWE legend to be tested to see if he is mentally stable enough to stand trial. Until it can be proven that he is, Snuka will not be facing those charges. March 18 is when the results should be completed. If Jimmy is deemed mentally fit enough, then the trial will be back on.

Some rather interesting details have emerged in the murder trial of Jimmy Snuka. The former WWE star told the judge that he was not capable of reading or writing in English. Snuka also stated that he was not aware of the day of the week or the city that he was currently in. His lawyers are stating that he is suffering from the early stages of dementia. A court order has been issued preventing lawyers from talking about the case publicly.

When asked about his opinions on Jimmy Snuka, Bob Backlund had some interesting things to say. Backlund stated that he never really liked Snuka because of how he handled himself outside of the ring. Backlund even stated that if Snuka was a decent human being, WWE would have put the heavyweight championship on him at one point in time. Snuka is currently on trial for murder.

Footage of Jimmy Snuka attending court in Allentown has surfaced online. As expected, he looked every bit as frail as reports have made him out to be. The WWE legend, however, was not carted in a wheelchair into the facilities. He walked on his own. His lawyers gave a public statement, saying that his client was not dreading the trial. He said that Snuka was actually looking forward to clearing his name.

The headache continues for Jimmy Snuka. He is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday. The legendary WWE star is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and third degree murder. Snuka is basically being accused of being involved in the death of his girlfriend back in 1983 when he was a big name star. It should be a long legal battle for the 71 year old, whose health has deteriorated tremendously.

Not only has WWE decided to remove Jimmy Snuka from their hall of fame, the company has also decided to stop paying him as well. His legends contract has been officially suspended. While it is not a ton of money, every little bit helps when it comes to Snuka, who was recently making appearances at various events so that he could make ends meet. His murder trial should begin soon.

The legendary WWE star is very bad shape physically. He's fighting stomach cancer and dementia. He gets around in a wheelchair and has a feeding tube attached to him. The judge might find him incompetent to stand trial.

The company wants to distance themselves from the high flyer because he is currently embroiled in a murder case. No word yet on if he has been removed completely from the hall of fame itself, however. Management may wait for the verdict before deciding that.

Since word of his arrest for murder has gone mainstream, WWE has to consider what they are going to do with Jimmy Snuka. He is a member of their hall of fame and has plenty of content on the Network. Management might opt to quietly remove him like they did when Hulk Hogan caused a controversial over some racial comments that he made. A decision should come this week.
