While chatting with Jim Ross on the Ross Report, Steve Austin confirmed that he was indeed going to be at Wrestlemania 32. The former world heavyweight champion also revealed that WWE has already started writing a segment for him, but he obviously cannot reveal anything at this point in time. Austin previously stated that he was not booked to be at the pay per view whatsoever.

During the latest episode of his weekly Ross Report podcast interview show, Jim Ross reiterated that Brock Lesnar was really hesitant about breaking the Wrestlemania winning streak that the Undertaker owned. Ross stated that WWE officials had a much harder time trying to convince Lesnar to break the streak than it was convincing the Phenom to have the streak broken. Jim stated that Brock had too much respect to take the victory at first.

While talking about sports betting on his personal blog, Jim Ross mentioned that the top two favorites to win the Royal Rumble are the first and last entrants. The legendary WWE commentator also stated that he would put his money on Brock Lesnar to win the event this year so that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion can go headline Wrestlemania at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

John Laurinaitis had an offer on the table, but he backed out of the deal at the very last minute because he did not want to leave TNA after spending so many years there. Abyss also revealed to Ross that there were plans for him to feud with Undertaker and work a big match together at Wrestlemania.

Michaels stated that he was not interested in working backstage with WWE because he no longer has the passion required, but he did not rule out an in ring return.

He stated that his main goal is to work a match against Brock Lesnar at the next Wrestlemania for the heavyweight championship. He stated that he doesn't care if he has to go through the developmental program in NXT to achieve that goal. Joe is hoping that WWE opts to put him on the main roster immediately, though.

He was given a squash match against Goldust on Monday Night Raw, and a winning streak is expected to follow.

Samoa Joe made a special appearances on the show. Those rumors were further flamed when it was revealed that the legendary commentator stated that he was going to be attending the hall of fame ceremony, something he was not originally planning.
