In a very touching display, Chris Masters did a tribute to the Ultimate Warrior, whose death rocked the world of professional wrestling earlier this month. While working an independent wrestling show in England, Masters dressed up as Ultimate Warrior, use his theme song, performed his trademark running entrance and even wrestled the same style.

ABC has a sitcom called the Goldbergs, and producers have a special wrestling themed episode coming up soon. Goldberg himself has been cast for the show, and he intends to do a tribute to the Ultimate Warrior on there. The former WCW champion even contacted Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon to get approval.

Those that know Curt Hawkins know that he is a big fan of the Ultimate Warrior, so when news surfaced about the death of the legendary WWE star, Hawkins was obviously affected deeply. As expected, WWE is turning the next episode of Monday Night Raw into a three hour tribute to the Ultimate Warrior, who died earlier this week. Aside from showing clips of his greatest moments in WWE, several of the performers are going to be allowed to do their own tribute to the former world heavyweight champion. There are also rumors that former wrestlers are being called in for the event as well.

At Wrestlemania 30, Daniel Bryan wore a pair of furry boats for his matches against Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista that evening. He revealed through WWE.com that the boats were a tribute to Bruiser Brody, a performer from the 1980s that he greatly admires. Interestingly enough, Brody himself also sported a memorable beard in the ring.

In what could be a show of defiance towards management, Dolph Ziggler did an in ring tribute to Zack Ryder during his match by doing a couple of his Ryder's signature moves.

Jim Ross has been openly lobbying to work with New Japan in their efforts to spread into the United States. Ross specifically mentioned the big January 4 pay per view as an opportunity for the two sides to get together. If a deal is agreed upon, he would fly to Tokyo to call the action in English.

Not a lot of details were provided when Ric Flair was forced to miss a WWE NXT show to have surgery. Jim Ross has revealed some details on that procedure. The longtime commentator stated that Flair had an appendicitis attack, and when doctors went in there to repair the damage, they discovered a hernia, so they repaired that as well. No word yet on when Flair will be returning to WWE television.

During a recent interview, Jim Ross revealed just how close Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin were in college. Ross was the one that recruited Lesnar into WWE, and when a contract was offered, Lesnar stated that he had a special stipulation he would like fulfilled. Lesnar told the company that he would sign the contract if they also gave a deal to Benjamin, who happened to be his roommate at the time.

Rumors are heating up that Jim Ross and CM Punk are going to head to New Japan to work together as commentators. Those were actually started by Ross himself, as the former WWE commentator simply speculated on the possibility during his podcast show. As of right now, there have been no negotiations, and Ross himself has stated that he has yet to talk to Punk about the idea.

During a recent podcast interview with Jim Ross, Kurt Angle confirmed the longstanding rumors that he and Brock Lesnar got into a backstage fight when both were with WWE. Angle stated that he initiated the brawl with Lesnar because Lesnar was telling the other wrestlers that Angle was too small for him to wrestle. The incident was more of an amateur wrestling match than a fist fight.
