Lex Luger regrets WWE departure

While doing a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Lex Luger confessed that he regrets the way that he left WWE. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he should have at least told Vince McMahon about his departure, as the two of them were close enough tow here Luger went to McMahon's house to hang out. Lex stated that if he could do that part of his life over, he would have done it differently.

Brock Lesnar hesitant

During the latest episode of his weekly Ross Report podcast interview show, Jim Ross reiterated that Brock Lesnar was really hesitant about breaking the Wrestlemania winning streak that the Undertaker owned. Ross stated that WWE officials had a much harder time trying to convince Lesnar to break the streak than it was convincing the Phenom to have the streak broken. Jim stated that Brock had too much respect to take the victory at first.

While doing a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Kevin Sullivan revealed that everyone was against his idea of putting the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on Chris Benoit. Sid Vicious said he was against the idea and even told that to Benoit himself. Sullivan said that it was hard to put over someone like Benoit because management had other guys making more than a million dollars a year.

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Abyss revealed some details about how close he came to signing with WWE back in 2006. John Laurinaitis had an offer on the table, but he backed out of the deal at the very last minute because he did not want to leave TNA after spending so many years there. Abyss also revealed to Ross that there were plans for him to feud with Undertaker and work a big match together at Wrestlemania.

A very bad allergic reaction to shrimp cause management to make the addition. Smash stated that their matches against the Road Warriors were awful. When promises were kept by management, they decided to leave WWE.

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone revealed that the reason why he quit drinking and partying with Ric Flair is because Flair eventually shows his genitals at some point in the night. Schiavone also noted that Flair would be sneaky at times and throw away his drink while no one was looking. That enabled Flair to have a reputation as a party animal without being completely drunk.

He revealed that he was so miserable working in WWE that he asked Vince McMahon to release him from his contract so that he could head down to WCW. Michaels really wanted to be with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at the time. McMahon, however, refused to let him go because he could not afford to lose another big star.

One of those names that has already received an offer is Shawn Michaels. He revealed that to Jim Ross on his podcast show this week. Michaels stated that he was not interested in working backstage with WWE because he no longer has the passion required, but he did not rule out an in ring return.

It is a move that is designed to hep her find a full time and long term career outside of professional wrestling. During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Melina talked about her release from WWE. She stated that she is now over it and has accepted that it was something that needed to happen. The 36 year old now understands that the company needed to clear roster spots for fresher faces. She also reiterated that the rumors about backstage heat leading to her departure were not true. She was not nearly as crazy as her character was.
