Melina in college

Melina has found life after WWE. She revealed during the podcast interview with Jim Ross that she returned to college. It is a move that is designed to hep her find a full time and long term career outside of professional wrestling. With that said, however, she still has some name value in the industry, so do not be surprised if she keeps making appearances at various conventions around the country. Fans still like to meet and take photos with her.

Melina release

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Melina talked about her release from WWE. She stated that she is now over it and has accepted that it was something that needed to happen. The 36 year old now understands that the company needed to clear roster spots for fresher faces. She also reiterated that the rumors about backstage heat leading to her departure were not true. She was not nearly as crazy as her character was.

Some rumors will never die, it seems. As the latest guest of Jim Ross on his podcast show, Melina was asked to address the issue once again. She stated that she was in a relationship with John Morrison for approximately eleven years. It was revealed that the two of them broke up because of rumors that she had cheated on Morrison with Batista, whom she stated was merely a friend backstage who stood up for her when others ridiculed her.

Ric Flair podcast

When it comes to podcast shows, wrestling fans have been living in nirvana thanks to Jim Ross, Vince Russo, Steve Austin and Chris Jericho joining the industry. Well, the game just got a bit more interesting. Reports have surfaced that Ric Flair has just signed an agreement with CBS Sports to host his own weekly show. The Nature Boy will be interviewing various professional wrestlers, celebrities and musicians on his show.

WWE blocking Jim Ross

For those of you that are wondering, Jim Ross is still not on great terms with WWE. In addition to him helping out Jeff Jarrett at the first GFW pay per view, management is also still blocking their former commentator from having contracted performers doing his podcast interviews. A fan recently asked Ross if he had any plans on interviewing Kane, and the hall of fame announcer revealed that he was still not allowed to talk to their performers.

During a recent podcast interview with Jim Ross, Jeff Jarrett shared his vision for GFW. He stated that he wanted to do things differently than what Vince McMahon is doing with WWE, hinting that the company was a bit of a standalone monopoly. Jarrett stated that he formed partnerships with companies around the world, such as AAA and New Japan, because he feels that wrestling would be healthier if everyone worked together with a common goal.
