Fans who put too much emphasis on winning and losing are under the belief that this is the end of the road for Rusev because he was buried by John Cena at Wrestlemania. As Jim Ross has repeatedly tried to explain, that's not how things work in professional wrestling. WWE is already building the Russian sympathizer back up. He was given a squash match against Goldust on Monday Night Raw, and a winning streak is expected to follow.

Jim Ross resentment

During an interview this week, Jim Ross gave fans a little bit of a nugget. He revealed that there is a good amount of resentment towards him from the current group of broadcasters in WWE. Majority of that is not his fault, as guys like Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, JBL and Booker T have grown tired of hearing fans complaining about their work on social media and demanding that Ross be brought back into the company and give his old job back.

A lot of speculations have been started overnight since fans spotted Jim Ross in the audience at the NXT show. Those rumors were further flamed when it was revealed that the legendary commentator stated that he was going to be attending the hall of fame ceremony, something he was not originally planning. A lot of people are under the assumption that he is negotiating to return to WWE in some form or capacity. He might also be at Wrestlemania.

Melina has found life after WWE. She revealed during the podcast interview with Jim Ross that she returned to college. It is a move that is designed to hep her find a full time and long term career outside of professional wrestling. With that said, however, she still has some name value in the industry, so do not be surprised if she keeps making appearances at various conventions around the country. Fans still like to meet and take photos with her.

Jim Ross might be heading back to the commentating booth in the near future, but it is not what professional wrestling fans had been hoping for. Instead of going back to WWE or joining TNA, the legendary announcer is currently in negotiations with Golden Boy Promotions. The two sides are discussing a permanent role as a boxing commentator. Ross has done it before, but it was essentially a one time deal back then.

While an extremely motivated Jeff Jarrett continues to work on getting a television deal for his new promotion, there have been a ton of speculations as to the details of GFW. Rumors surfaced recently that the voice of the promotion will be a very familiar one to longtime wrestling fans. It is being said that Jarrett is hoping to bring together Jim Ross and Mike Tenay as his broadcasting team. He tried teaming them up for New Japan in January.

When it comes to podcast shows, wrestling fans have been living in nirvana thanks to Jim Ross, Vince Russo, Steve Austin and Chris Jericho joining the industry. Well, the game just got a bit more interesting. Reports have surfaced that Ric Flair has just signed an agreement with CBS Sports to host his own weekly show. The Nature Boy will be interviewing various professional wrestlers, celebrities and musicians on his show.

WWE blocking Jim Ross

For those of you that are wondering, Jim Ross is still not on great terms with WWE. In addition to him helping out Jeff Jarrett at the first GFW pay per view, management is also still blocking their former commentator from having contracted performers doing his podcast interviews. A fan recently asked Ross if he had any plans on interviewing Kane, and the hall of fame announcer revealed that he was still not allowed to talk to their performers.

When the company decided to move him from the Monday Night Raw commentating table to Smackdown's lesser watched crew, it became clear to observant people that Jerry Lawler was being demoted by WWE. His job security, though, remains fairly high. He still has name value and a good amount of fans. Plus, management is afraid that another wresting promotion will sign Lawler and team him up with Jim Ross.
