He stated that Jim Ross was the person that put the two of them in contact with one another. Ross knew Sonnen was passionate about wrestling and very serious about joining the industry. Ross is also want to see Jarrett doing well with Global Force Wrestling.

As many of you already know, there are rumors floating around that Destination America is going to be canceling all TNA programming before the end of the year. Many within the industry are highly critical of the network for not releasing information on the matter. Jim Ross feels that it insensitive and unprofessional for them to keep so many wrestlers and their families in the dark. They need to know what the future holds, so they can prepare for it.

Some further details have been revealed on how GFW plans on doing their television show. Jim Ross stated that the company will be taping twelve episodes which will be an hour long, something that he prefers because it allows you to focus more on the product. Then, the thirteenth episode will be a two hour finale. That is what Jeff Jarrett will be pitching to the networks. Ross stated that he would do commentary if it fits his busy schedule.

Samoa Joe visits WWE

Rumors spread on Thursday that Samoa Joe met with WWE officials to negotiate a developmental contract. It is now looking more and more likely that it did happen, as Jim Ross himself has confirmed that he saw Joe earlier in the day. Ross is in Orlando, where the performance center happens to be, to tape a show with Mick Foley for the Network. The belief is that Joe will sign a deal and start with NXT around June of 2015.

Michaels really wanted to be with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at the time. McMahon, however, refused to let him go because he could not afford to lose another big star.
