Some very interesting news coming out of a wrestling convention in Charlotte last month. Quite a lofty goal for the WWE legends, as there probably is not a whole lot of network executives who are interested in such a show.

Wade Barrett hasn't been on television in quite some time now because he suffered a shoulder injury during a match with Jack Swagger. Great Khali
Even though the company has been slowly downplaying the importance of the Great Khali, WWE has plans in the works to expand even further into India. Management recognizes the country as a very profitable one for their brand. More shows are being planned, and television deals are being cemented. While the company no longer wishes to pay him as much money as before, this move into India might help Khali secure another contract soon.

Dixie Carter has been adamant all along about Impact Wrestling being able to remain on the air, and it looks like her team is about to finalize things. No word yet on which network the deal will be with, but it appears that Spike is not in the picture. WGN and Velocity are two of the rumored networks interested in bringing wrestling on board.
September 23, 2014
Austin Aries
Add Austin Aries to the long list of performers who may be leaving TNA once their contract expires. Reports surfaced recently that he was not one of the names advertised for an upcoming tour of England, and that led to the speculation that the former world heavyweight champion was not going to have his contract renewed by the company because they are still in limbo over a television contract.
September 22, 2014
Gail Kim
With the company still in limbo on a new television contract, whenever a veteran performer has a contract that is expiring, rumors float around that the person will be leaving TNA. Another name to add to the list is Gail Kim. Long viewed as one of the best female performers in the industry, her future is unclear, as her contract expires before the end of the year.

AJ Lee
One of the more interesting things in WWE nowadays is the feud between AJ Lee and Paige. It's not so much about what has happened on television, as much as it is about what can possibly happen next. The creative department has teased sexual tension between the two performers, but management knows that it cannot go too far because of potential backlash from advertisers. With WWE needing to create a buzz for the product, it will be interesting to see how close to the line that they're willing to step.

September 13, 2014
Bully Ray
Rumors are spreading rapidly right now that Bully Ray has signed a new contract with TNA. The speculation stems from the fact that the company is now openly advertising him for Bound For Glory 2014. His contract expired not too long ago, and at the time, the belief was that the two sides were not able to come to an agreement on a new deal because TNA was still waiting for a television contract. There is also a chance that Bully Ray could just be doing a one time thing for the company.

ROH has officially announced his comeback at the September 27 television taping in West Virginia. No word yet on who his opponent will be.

Bret Hart

"There is no real comparison, that is like comparing a diamond and a chunk of coal. Vince McMahon is an absolute master, he is a brilliant man, you take a look at going up against WCW, Ted Turner and that whole organisation. Turner gave us all no cut contracts; Hulk Hogan, Brutus Beefcake, Bret Hart, and myself all went to WCW. Vince then took all the cast offs like Triple H and Steve Austin and turned them into global superstars and once again he was on top. You've got to give Vince credit, he is not your friend, if you want a friend go buy a puppy, Vince is your boss. He will use you and make you money but when the time is right he will flush you down the toilet and won't think twice about it, welcome to the real world."

- Jim Duggan on Eric Bischoff
