Aside from needing to promote Guardians of the Galaxy this fall, he will also now need time away to film the sequel to the movie, which was just announced this week.
With CM Punk leaving WWE due to unhappiness, a lot of eyes have now focused on Alberto Del Rio, who has openly talked about leaving the company whenever he is upset with the way that his character is being utilized. The belief is that he is unhappy about being fed to Batista.
While he was originally scheduled to work a high profile match against the Undertaker at the event, there are those backstage within WWE that are pushing for Brock Lesnar to be moved into a program with Batista at Wrestlemania 30 instead.
When Batista made his return on Monday Night Raw, WWE officials were said to be rather upset with the lackluster reaction from the audience. However, management then saw the television ratings for the segment and placed the blame on the Dayton crowd instead.
While a lot of fans are criticizing the guy for being pushed by WWE despite not having been a full time performer in years, Kevin Nash has publicly defended Batista. He stated that it's a smart business decision to accept the push whenever management is offering one.

While wrestling fans view it as one of the highest priorities, WWE does not share the same sentiment when it comes to signing Sting. The company definitely would like to bring him on board, but they do not view this as big of a deal as they did with Batista, Brock Lesnar, Rock and Hulk Hogan.
While watching Royal Rumble 2014, Rikishi expressed his frustration with WWE by posting a message on Twitter. He asked what the company was doing with his sons, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. He also stated that the "writers suck" and ended the statement with "bullshit".
Another issue that CM Punk had with WWE was the return of Batista. While he has no personal issues with Batista himself, Punk was upset that another person was being brought in and placed above him on the card. Punk was hoping that he would be used as the top guy again this year.

There are talks backstage that Titus ONeil could be on the verge of receiving a push in WWE. With his good friend Batista making a return to the company, some feel that management will try to appease him by pushing the Prime Time Player member.
There are rumors that Batista could be doing a heel turn after winning the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 30. Management has noticed the reaction that he has been receiving since making his return, and the feeling is that he might work better as an antagonist.
After Royal Rumble 2014 went off the air, Batista got into it with a fan on his way back up the entrance ramp. He threatened to snap the person in half, before the rest of the WWE audience turned on him. Batista then added further fuel to the fire by mocking Daniel Bryan at the top of the rant.
Batista won Royal Rumble 2014 by eliminating Roman Reigns in the end.
