As the company continues their negotiations with Spike TV, TNA has signed a new television contract with SuperSport in Africa. The deal is for five years, which means that Dixie Carter and company will maintain a strong presence overseas, even if they are unable to secure another deal with Spike. Many in the industry are under the impression that Impact Wrestling will remain on television in the United States somehow.

As many already know, WWE has been trying to downplay the importance of Great Khali to the company. For years, he was paid a very high salary because of his overseas marketing appeal. However, with WWE losing a ton of money lately, there are talks that the former world heavyweight champion could become a casualty soon. Giving him a release would save WWE close to a million dollars a year.

While the movie did not dominate in the United States as the studios had hoped, Hercules has done well overseas. Rock has now informed the fans that the movie has topped the box offices in India, Russia and Australia. The movie has generated almost the same amount from international viewers as it has domestic ones. There's still talks that the movie might barely break even for the studios, which would definitely not be a good sign for the Rock.

Triple H might be downplaying his arrival to the developmental program, but Kenta Kobayashi is far from a regular new performer joining WWE. Internally, he is being viewed as a major marketing asset as the company is hoping to expand its reaches in Japan. A television network has already agreed to air WWE NXT since Kobayashi will be featured on those shows. The Japanese star is also set to help promote the WWE Network when it expands overseas.

With the company desperately needing to boost the subscribers count, the WWE Network is set to go international soon. Emails were sent out to various fans to let them know that a trial run was being offered. Even though he had already established himself as one of the top performers overseas, Kenta Kobayashi is actually being sent to the developmental program by WWE. Management wants him to change up his style a bit and adopt the slower pace style that the company prefers. Chono and WWE have an agreement that enables the international star to sell nWo related merchandise in Japan. Chono was a part of the stable and feels that now is a good time to bring the items back to the overseas market.

You can expect to see more of Seiya Sanada on Impact Wrestling over the next few months. The former TNA X Division Champion has decided to sign another contract with Dixie Carter that will ensure that he remains in the United States until at least the end of the year. Sanada also has a deal with the Great Muta, so he will be venturing back overseas for tours with Wrestle-1 as well. The rumored deal has been finalized.

One of the reasons why Santino Marella worked a segment with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter on Monday Night Raw this week was because Emma was overseas. WWE sent the diva to her home country of Australia to do some promotional work for an upcoming tour. Management really does not have a long term plan for Santino and Emma, but they like utilizing the two of them on television together.

The second generation star has been wanting to work overseas since being released by TNA because he wanted to gain more experience. It looks like WWE wants to promote Roman Reigns as a top star during the upcoming tour of Japan. Management is booking him in singles matches against Kane, a performer that Japanese fans are aware of. Reigns will more than likely be going over in those bouts. WWE is also booking Reigns for a tag team match with John Cena during the tour as well, which should give him a little more credibility with the overseas fans.

Doctors had to insert 4 plates and 13 screws into his ankle. Sorensen revealed that he is now able to start working out that leg again, but he has not revealed any details about his future in the business.
