GFW on television

With fans eagerly awaiting every new announcement, Jeff Jarrett has revealed that he has been in negotiations with three different television networks in regards to airing a weekly show for GFW. The former world heavyweight champion is already planning on taping shows in June, so that means that a deal will more than likely be closed by then. Jarrett did not reveal the names of the network, which is customary in the business.

There is a lot of things that can be said about Jeff Jarrett, but no one can deny that the guy is ambitious and works hard towards his goal. The TNA founder has already started working the phones to book talent for a big GFW show in Las Vegas. The vent is taking place in August, so the former world heavyweight champion should have very little problems being able to put together a great card. Lots of big name free agents available.

Chris Sabin to GFW

Since TNA started signing contracts with wrestlers again, it seems a bit surprising that there have not been a lot of news in regards to the company contacting Chris Sabin. It is being said that the former world heavyweight champion is not interested in making a return at this point because he wants to wait and see what Jeff Jarrett does with GFW. The belief is that a lot of free agents are doing the same thing as well.

Jeff Jarrett not wrestling

If you are worried that GFW will be centered around Jeff Jarrett, then there is some good news for you. He stated that he will not be the centerpiece performer like he was when he initially started TNA. The former world heavyweight champion also stated that his days as a full time in ring performer are behind him now. Jarrett wants to focus on being a promoter, booker and company owner. No word yet on who will be his primary star.

Jarrett scouted Steen

During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett admitted that he had been scouting Kevin Steen as a potential member of his GFW roster before the former ROH heavyweight champion decided to take his services to NXT. Jarrett spoke highly of the man now known as Kevin Owens, and many are under the belief that he is doing that because he wants to keep the business relationship open, in case things do not work out for Owens in WWE for whatever reasons.
