Since he is one of the best performers on the independent wrestling circuit, many were under the belief that Jeff Jarrett was going to try to get Chris Sabin under contract once GFW started. Well, apparently, those rumors are true. The promotion has now signed the former world heavyweight champion, and he will more than likely be taking part in the upcoming summer tour. No word yet on what his status with ROH will be now.

Well, good news if you've been wanting Benjamin back in the United States. He has now been signed to a contract by GFW and should be a part of that summer tour. When it was announced that Seiya Sanada was leaving the promotion, rumors spread that the relationship between TNA and Wrestle 1 had gone downhill. Apparently, that is the case, as the two companies are no longer doing business together. It is being said that the Great Muta has more of a relationship with Jeff Jarrett than Dixie Carter, whom he does respect. This is the reason why Sanada is now a member of the GFW roster.

Together, they will be able to attract more of the top free agents to join their roster. A lot of rumors have been swirling around GFW since their first announcement. You can rule out the one about Vince Russo joining the company as the lead writer. During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett flat out stated that he would not hire Russo at this point in time. The belief is that Jarrett does not want the negative connotation that surrounds Russo to affect the chance of Global Force Wrestling being accepted by the fans from the start.
