AAA and TNA working together

When Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter parted ways, things were a bit complicated for AAA because they had relationships with both sides. The promotion signed a deal with GFW to do a talent exchange. Now, it appears that they are talking to TNA once again. The belief is that Carter is going to send a three man team down to Mexico to compete in the Lucha Libre World Cup Trios Tournament. No word yet on which performers will be sent.

Jay Lethal to GFW

While he has been given a really solid push over the last year, there is still a chance that Jay Lethal could opt to leave for GFW when the opportunity arises. He maintains a good business relationship with Jeff Jarrett, who may end up receiving a better television deal for his promotion than the one that Ring of Honor has. It is being said that Lethal would love to perform for a much bigger audience. ROH still is not shown in every state.

Kevin Nash to GFW

Since they have worked together for years and have maintained a positive relationship outside the ring, the speculation is that Kevin Nash and Jeff Jarrett will be working together in some sort of capacity when GFW starts doing live events. However, that is very unlikely to happen. While it is true that Nash has constantly stated that he puts business first, the belief here is that he will remain loyal to Triple H and WWE, the company inducting him this year.

Matt Striker to GFW

Some speculation on the future of Matt Striker have surfaced. There are those who are wondering if the commentator is going to jump ship from Lucha Underground to GFW when the latter picks up their television contract. Striker has a really good relationship with Jeff Jarrett. The two of them worked together on a New Japan pay per view earlier this year. No word yet on what his current contract states, so things are up in the air.

Sabu in GFW

A name that has not been spoken much lately has joined the long list of potential roster members for GFW. Word going around is that Sabu is interested in joining the promotion when it starts doing live events. He is still actively working on the independent wrestling circuit, both here in the United States and overseas. The former ECW star would love to be back in the spotlight, and he has maintained a good relationship with Jeff Jarrett.

Great Muta in GFW

Since the two of them have worked together many times in the past and are on good terms with one another, there are rumors floating around that the Great Muta and Jeff Jarrett will work out a deal to former a partnership between GFW and Wrestle-1. However, word going around is that the deal is unlikely to even be discussed, as Muta does not want to jeopardize his relationship with TNA. Jarrett also has a working agreement with New Japan.

Jeff Jarrett on Lucha Underground

Based on the tone of his voice while answering the question during an interview, it seems highly unlikely that we are going to be seeing a business partnership between Jeff Jarrett and Lucha Underground despite his strong relationship with AAA. He reiterated that while the company is owned by the same family, there are different partners and managers involved in each of those two promotions. His relationship is with the one in Mexico.

Jarrett scouted Steen

During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett admitted that he had been scouting Kevin Steen as a potential member of his GFW roster before the former ROH heavyweight champion decided to take his services to NXT. Jarrett spoke highly of the man now known as Kevin Owens, and many are under the belief that he is doing that because he wants to keep the business relationship open, in case things do not work out for Owens in WWE for whatever reasons.

AJ Styles to GFW

With the way thing stand right now, it appears that AJ Styles will be the centerpiece of the GFW roster that will be unveiled early in 2015. In addition to him on very good terms with Jeff Jarrett, there is also a working relationship between his current promotion, New Japan, and Global Force Wrestling. The move would enable Styles to stay a bit closer to home during the year. It is also believed to be the reason why Styles has closed the door on WWE.
