Since he has done it before, Jeff Jarrett knows what it takes to build up a business. You go for one victory at a time. GFW just scored their first victory. The promotion now has a television deal in England. Fans in that country will now be able to watch Amped thanks to a new deal between Global Force Wrestling and Boulder Creek International. Doing well overseas will help Jarrett leverage the networks in the United States.

In what might be quite the surprise to many, it is being said that Jeff Jarrett is much closer to getting a television deal for GFW in England than he is in the United States. Advertisers in America are not particular fond of professional wrestling, but the demographics in the United Kingdom are a bit different. Securing a television deal overseas and doing strong numbers would help Global Force Wrestling get a deal in the USA.

During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett not only confirmed that he was still in negotiations for a television deal in the United States, he also noted that he was in negotiations to get international television deals as well. One of the biggest names on the independent wrestling circuit is Chris Masters, and GFW has managed to snag him in. He was officially announced as a member of the roster today by Jeff Jarrett at a press conference in Las Vegas. Since leaving WWE, Masters has been able to maintain a busy schedule as promoters find him reliable and popular. He has also worked extensively overseas, something Global Force Wrestling values.

Getting one of the top tag teams in New Japan was not enough for Jeff Jarrett. He went out and signed another one. Lance Hoyt and Davey Boy Smith Jr have both signed a contract with GFW. They will be a regular part of the roster, while also continuing to do tours of Japan. That way, they can maintain their international name value. While the two of them did not find a lot of success in WWE, they have established themselves as stars overseas.

Since he is having a bit of a hard time trying to secure a television contract with one of the national networks, Jeff Jarrett is said to be pitching the idea of doing a test run. GFW would run a super show that would feature talent from AAA, New Japan, the independent wrestling circuit in the US and international stars from the many business deals that he has set up overseas. Thus far, none of the networks have expressed interest in that.

A name that has not been spoken much lately has joined the long list of potential roster members for GFW. Word going around is that Sabu is interested in joining the promotion when it starts doing live events. He is still actively working on the independent wrestling circuit, both here in the United States and overseas. The former ECW star would love to be back in the spotlight, and he has maintained a good relationship with Jeff Jarrett.
