To take things up a notch, TNA has announced that they are creating a King of the Mountain Championship for the person that wins the match on Sunday. There are talks that Jeff Jarrett could be given the victory and the belt so that he can make it an inter promotional championship that will be defended on Impact Wrestling and at GFW live events.

As some of you may already know, GFW is doing their first live event in the United States tonight in Jackson, Tennessee. For much of the past year, Jeff Jarrett has focused on acquiring a television contract for GFW. However, it is being said that he put a lot of effort into the live event side of the business. The reason is because he might be able to convince a network to give him a chance if he can prove that his product can generate interest and draw in the fans. Since he has long been known as one of the most difficult personalities to deal with in the industry, the belief was that it was very likely that Jim Cornette would ever work for a major professional wrestling promotion again. However, that is exactly what he is going to be doing. Cornette revealed on his podcast show that he will be working with Jeff Jarrett on June 12, 2015 and the following day when GFW does live events in Tennessee.

One thing that we now know about GFW is that when they start doing live events, production is an area that they are not skipping out on. Bandit Lites has announced that they have formed a partnership with Jeff Jarrett to provide lighting for the shows. The company is a worldwide leader in event and concert lighting. Plus, they have headquarters in several other countries across the globe. Jarrett plans on doing his first show on July 24.

Back in February, it was confirmed that GFW would be based in Las Vegas. Now, it looks like Jeff Jarrett has finalized the deal because he has started to do official promotion for it. While not a lot of details have been released, Jarrett has informed us that it will definitely be taking place this summer. No confirmation yet on a television deal, but the belief is that Global Force Wrestling can help further the cause by doing live events at least.

Since they have worked together for years and have maintained a positive relationship outside the ring, the speculation is that Kevin Nash and Jeff Jarrett will be working together in some sort of capacity when GFW starts doing live events. However, that is very unlikely to happen. While it is true that Nash has constantly stated that he puts business first, the belief here is that he will remain loyal to Triple H and WWE, the company inducting him this year.
