Back in May, Chris Hero was backstage at Impact Wrestling and reports stated that he talked a bit with management about a possible contract. Well, it looks like that deal is not going to be happening anytime soon because TNA is showing very little interest in the move. Hero might have a shot with GFW if he can convince Jeff Jarrett that he is still an asset in this industry after a disastrous run in WWE.

During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett not only confirmed that he was still in negotiations for a television deal in the United States, he also noted that he was in negotiations to get international television deals as well. His deals with wrestling companies overseas could play a big factor in securing those contracts.

Earlier in the year, GFW created a bit of controversy when it announced that Brodus Clay was going to be working the upcoming summer tour of Minor League Baseball stadiums. It was odd that a performer contracted to TNA would be working for a new promotion that was founded by Jeff Jarrett. Apparently, things grew too uncomfortable, as Clay has announced that he has decided to pull out of the tour due to contractual obligations.

Since he is one of the best performers on the independent wrestling circuit, many were under the belief that Jeff Jarrett was going to try to get Chris Sabin under contract once GFW started. Well, apparently, those rumors are true. The promotion has now signed the former world heavyweight champion, and he will more than likely be taking part in the upcoming summer tour. No word yet on what his status with ROH will be now.

Well, good news if you've been wanting Benjamin back in the United States. He has now been signed to a contract by GFW and should be a part of that summer tour. Jeff Jarrett has been building himself quite the roster.

Even though the two promotions are on amicable terms, Dixie Carter does not want her contracted performers to work for Jeff Jarrett on their days off. Right now, TNA has a policy that enables them to work for another promotion, provided they are not utilized on television. Things could automatically work out for Carter, however, because it appears that GFW is on track to get a television contract with an unannounced network very soon.

The reason is because he might be able to convince a network to give him a chance if he can prove that his product can generate interest and draw in the fans. A solid result from the tour could also generate a decent amount of revenue for Global Force Wrestling.

Generally, companies don't like when rival promotions butt into their affairs. However, ROH really did not have much of an option when Jeff Jarrett started recruiting Quinn Ojinnaka about joining GFW. After all, his contract was expiring next month, and there was a good chance that Ring of Honor was going to lose him to someone else. Despite being inexperienced still, Ojinnaka has improved enough to generate interest from WWE.
