Back in August, rumors surfaced that Shawn Daivari was going to be headed to GFW. The only thing holding him back at the time was that he needed to see what the future of Lucha Underground had in store. Now that the promotion is staying in business, Daivari will not be joining Jeff Jarrett in Global Force Wrestling. Daivari has a contract that prevents him from appearing on television for another promotion.

Even though the two promotions are on amicable terms, Dixie Carter does not want her contracted performers to work for Jeff Jarrett on their days off. Right now, TNA has a policy that enables them to work for another promotion, provided they are not utilized on television. Things could automatically work out for Carter, however, because it appears that GFW is on track to get a television contract with an unannounced network very soon.
