A lot of names are being thrown around as potential candidates to join Jeff Jarrett in the new wrestling promotion that he is currently working on. Rob Conway has become an interesting candidate, as he can also do other things backstage to help the company grow.
Within the industry, Jeff Jarrett is viewed as someone that has a great sense of business and is quite versatile, so when he opted to leave TNA, Dixie Carter decided to replace him with someone similiar. Tommy Dreamer is now filling the role once held by Jarrett.
"The people. Jeff Jarrett was here a long time, and also (TNA President) Dixie Carter. She's a great boss, very family oriented, and she listens to the wrestlers. We can go to her and talk if we have a problem, which is very cool. TNA was very loyal to me when I had the opportunity to do other things. Honestly, that's above my pay grade, but Dixie Carter always looks after her wrestlers and does what's best for the company. It's not just wrestlers' job, it's hers too."
"To me, Jeff knows wrestling. They need somebody like that either in the production side or the creative side . . . because, let's face it, he built this company. It was his hard work and his money that he put into it in the very beginning. I think TNA needs Jeff Jarrett, whether it be behind the scenes or in front of the camera or whatever, but they definitely need him—at least for his advice on the wrestling aspect of it."
While the true reasons for his departure have not been disclosed, the feeling within TNA is that Jeff Jarrett was not forced out of the company. His resignation was a mutual agreement to part ways, and he still maintains a relationship with TNA.
Many within TNA are shocked that Jeff Jarrett is leaving the company, as there wasn't any sense of friction between he and Dixie Carter. Jarrett was working heavily with the creative department prior to his abrupt departure from the company.
Jeff Jarrett has announced that he has officially resigned from TNA, the company that he founded, on Sunday. The former world champion did not reveal the reason why he has left the promotion. Jarrett simply thanked the company and stated he was grateful.
Since there was some confusion from the fans, JBL revealed through Twitter that his mentioning of Jeff Jarrett on Monday Night Raw was done out of respect to a friend.
While he has never left the company, Jeff Jarrett scaled back on his responsibilities within TNA. It appears that he's now more involved again. He was recently backstage when Dixie Carter addressed the performers. Plus, he was the liaison that met with the Great Muta for the talent exchange.
