TNA stars working elsewhere

In order to help their performers make more money each year, TNA has decided to modify the rule that prevents them from working in other promotions. In the past, special permission was granted for the wrestlers to work on cards promoted by Tommy Dreamer, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. Now, they are free to work internet pay per view events for smaller independent companies. ROH is still not an option for the wrestlers, however.

Helms running OMEGA

While they certainly do not have plans on rushing things, it appears that OMEGA is in good hands and is looking to expand as a promotion. Jeff Hardy revealed in an interview how excited he was to be working on a project that he and Matt Hardy started when they were just teenagers. He also alluded to the fact that Shane Helms is the guy that is running things behind the scenes. Their live events have been massively popular and successful.

Hardy Boys tournament

A rather interesting omission from the upcoming tag team championship tournament in TNA is Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. As of right now, the brothers have not been officially announced as entrants. From what we know, both guys are under contract to the promotion for at least another year, so that can be ruled out as a factor for their absence. Management could also be saving their announcement to build up the anticipation from the audience.

Jeff Hardy retirement

In addition to him being happy with the current situation and schedule that TNA has offered him, Hardy is said to be quite content with his legacy. He feels that he has already accomplished plenty as a professional wrestler. He can retire feeling satisfied.
