In case you missed Impact Wrestling this week, Ethan Carter fired Jeff Hardy because he refused to obey his command. That has led to speculation within the internet wrestling community that he could be leaving TNA. That is not the case at this moment. The segment was being done to generate interest, which it has, and to set up a big match between Hardy and Carter later on. Hardy is still under contract to Total Nonstop Action.

As many of you already know, Jeff Jarrett has been building up working relationships with wrestling promotions from around the world. His latest partnership might come in the form of OMEGA, the promotion that is owned and operated by Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. Jarrett allowed two of their performers to work a championship match at a GFW live event.

Since fans are still clinging on to the rumors that TNA has been late in paying performers, Matt Hardy has decided to explain the situation in the hopes that some will be smart enough to understand. He stated that the front office has never been late in paying he and Jeff Hardy. The former US champion even posted a photo of the monthly fee check, per match check, royalty check and another check that was included in the new contract he signed.

There was a lot of concern for Jeff Hardy after he did a very painful spot in a match with James Storm. When asked about changing his style, the former WWE champion stated that he is not planning on doing that. Hardy states that he knows his body better than anyone else, and he knows what he is still capable of. The North Carolina native also stated that if he was not able to perform like normal, then he would not stay with TNA.

When TNA announced that he was going to be headlining the latest episode of Impact Wrestling in a steel cage match with James Storm, many of those fans made sure to tune in. Hardy helped the company receive an increase in viewership this week. It further solidifies that name value is still the most important trait in wrestling.

In a sign that he might have completely ruled out the possibility of ever signing with WWE, David Benoit recently took a jab at the company during an interview. He specifically stated that since their program has changed so much over the years, they have effectively killed his passion for wrestling. Benoit then went on to praise TNA, praising a recent steel cage match featuring James Storm, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy at Lethal Lockdown.
