The relationship between Jim Ross and Vince McMahon has gotten worse. A lot of fans noticed recently that JBL and Jerry Lawler participated in a segment that bashed Ross. That was done because McMahon was upset with Ross for telling an embarrassing story about him that ended up being covered by TMZ. The jabs may continue in the coming weeks, depending on how McMahon feels.

Ultimate Warrior
In a very classy move by the company, WWE sent two senior officials to Arizona to help the family of the Ultimate Warrior after his death. The move took place almost immediately after the legendary performer died of a heart attack. The story has been picked up by TMZ, and the company has received quite a bit of praise for doing such a good deed.

TMZ has a video of Lilian Garcia doing karaoke at a bar in New Orleans during Wrestlemania 30 weekend. It was the same venue where Pat Patterson was singing earlier in the week. Spotted in the crowd were Al Snow and Chris Masters, two former WWE stars. For those that are not aware, Lilian actually is a singer in a band.

There are rumors floating around that WWE is going to be asking Jerry Lawler to stop wrestling matches at independent shows. The company was initially against it anyways because they were worried that an accident would bring heat to the company. Vince McMahon is said to be especially leery now that TMZ has published a story on the situation.

CM Punk
TMZ recently caught up with Hulk Hogan at the airport, and the legendary WWE performer gave a quick interview. He plugged his return to the company and the launch of the WWE Network. When asked about CM Punk, he stated that he was not aware of the details behind the situation, but also stated that he hopes Punk is just on a short vacation.

Big Daddy V
TMZ has picked up some further details on the death of Big Daddy V. It has now been revealed that the former WWE star was cremated, and his wife plans on putting his remains into pendants and necklaces and giving them away to his loved ones. That is actually a custom in some parts of the world when a person passes away.

Brooke Hogan
Since WWE has signed their father to a contract again, Nick Hogan and Brooke Hogan will be making an appearance at Wrestlemania 30 as well. Nick was interviewed by TMZ over the weekend, and he stated that he and his sister would definitely be at the show. He joked that his mother, however, was not likely to be there.

Prior to his death, Big Daddy V had started taking steps to improve his health. The former WWE reportedly lost 100 pounds in the span of six months. It was confirmed by his wife to TMZ after his death. Doctors had advised him that his blood pressure was at a high level. Unfortunately, though, he died from a heart attack last weekend.

Yesterday, speculations arose that JBL was the man that was behind a Twitter account which frequently mocked Vince McMahon with backstage information that only people within the company would be aware of. The WWE commentator took to Facebook to post a long message, denying that he is involved in such a thing. Some still think it may be JBL.

For the longest time, people backstage in WWE have been trying to figure out who was behind a Vince McMahon parody account on Twitter, as a lot of the stuff being said was insider information. Speculations have arisen that JBL might be the culprit. If proven to be true, there could be massive backstage heat between the two, as McMahon is said to hate the account.

Even though they both participated in the public bashing of Jim Ross on Monday Night Raw, there is said to be no backstage heat towards JBL and Jerry Lawler because everyone is aware that they were only following orders from a vengeful Vince McMahon. Both JBL and Lawler really enjoy their jobs, so it made sense for them to do what McMahon demanded.

On Monday Night Raw, the commentators were instructed to take a few verbal jabs at Jim Ross. Rather than being upset at his former cohorts, Ross took to Twitter to tell fans to ease up on JBL, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. He stated that they were simply doing their jobs and saying what they were told to say. The belief is that the orders came from Vince McMahon.

On July 4, in Bermuda, where JBL has a residence, the two of them will be contestants in the world marlin championship. A television deal is being rumored for the event as well.

Initially, Xavier Woods and Wade Barrett were given spots in the big match, but WWE officials decided to remove them and replace them with JBL and El Torito instead. The feeling backstage was that the fans would react better to those the latter two performers.

Michael Cole will not be on commentary for Smackdown this week. Instead, JBL will be joined on television by Josh Mathews. No word yet on why Cole did not work the event, but there does not appear to be any backstage heat from WWE towards their long time commentator.

While many within WWE, including JBL, are pushing for him to be called up to the main roster soon, management currently does not have any plans of bringing Adrian Neville up from the developmental program just yet. The plan is to keep him in NXT until at least Wrestlemania.

JBL is a pretty ambitious individual. The WWE commentator will be attempting to climb Mt Elbrus again in July. He had previous attempted the feat, but severe weather conditions in Russia forced him and his fellow climbers to give up on the trek before they made it to the peak.
