Booker T comments removed

While talking about the abilities of Adrian Neville, JBL stated that Owen Hart was a high flying but not anything like this. Innocently, Booker T added to that by stating that Hart did not defy gravity, which is a term used frequently for Neville. That drew the ire of fans, who immediate took to social media to bash Booker, who ended up issuing an apology. WWE decided to take it a step further by removing the comments on the replay of Monday Night Raw.

Daniel Bryan availability

In a rather stunning move, WWE has publicly acknowledged the heath condition of Daniel Bryan. Michael Cole and JBL mentioned on Monday Night Raw that the Intercontinental Champion might not be able to defend his title against Wade Barrett at Extreme Rules. Management is having him undergo medical testing this week because they still would love to have him on the card. A replacement match is being discussed in case Bryan cannot work.

WWE catering

If you watched Monday Night Raw, then you might have heard JBL taking a little jab at catering. The reason for that is because WWE decided to cut the budget and keep the menus simpler. Since they are used to better food, the performers are understandably not pleased with the move, as catering was seen as one of the biggest perks. Reports have surfaced that the front office decided to use the money on pyrotechnics instead.

Byron Saxton replaces Michael Cole

Once the decision was made by WWE to keep Michael Cole off of Monday Night Raw, there was a bit of a debate on how to replace him. Some wanted just JBL and Booker T to man the booth, but neither guy is a play by play commentator. There was a little bit of support for Brad Maddox to take the role, as he was backstage, but the front office ultimately decided to give Byron Saxton another chance to prove himself.

Rusev lawyer

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Rusev brought out a lawyer to help him get out of defending the United States Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania against John Cena. Well, Vince McMahon was not a fan of the guy. He was so irate backstage that he fed JBL some lines on the commentating booth to bury the acting skills of the performer. It is being said that WWE auditioned people at the arena for the role.

Michael Cole botch

Life can be pretty hard when your job requires absolute perfection. That is a lesson that was drilled into Michael Cole during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The long time WWE commentator screwed up the start time of Wrestlemania, and that did not sit well with Vince McMahon. It is being said that the CEO laid into Cole pretty harshly on the headset. The belief is that JBL also laid into him because McMahon instructed him to.

Zombie Eddie Guerrero

During the match between Ryback and Luke Harper during Monday Night Raw last night, JBL generated a bit of controversy with some comments that he made. When Harper flew over the ropes, the commentator stated that he looked like a "zombie Eddie Guerrero", which drew the ire of the internet wrestling community, who pounced him with some negative comments through social media. Guerrero still remains very popular with the fans.

Jerry Lawler replaced

As many of you already know by now, Jerry Lawler has been laid up in a hospital for the past week because of diverticulitis, the same condition that caused Brock Lesnar to retire prematurely from UFC. While he is getting better, it is not enough to get him back to work on Monday Night Raw this week, so WWE has decided to replace him with a fan favorite at the commentating table tonight. Booker T will join JBL and Michael Cole instead.

McMahon yelling at Lawler

On Monday Night Raw this week, Jerry Lawler received some backstage heat, due to sexually inappropriate comments that he made on the air. There are now rumors floating around that Vince McMahon was vehemently yelling at the announcers immediately after the comments were made. That would explain the awkward silence from Michael Cole and JBL. Generally, the commentators are silent whenever they are listening to McMahon on the headset.
