The former world heavyweight champion publicly confirmed that, and he also mentioned that his friendship with Road Dogg was pivotal to his new career move. Storm stated that Dogg was the person that talked to Triple H about the idea.

The two of them are said to be close friends outside of the business. The possibility was discussed by both men. After more than a dozen years with the company, James Storm has announced through social media that he is leaving TNA. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he finished up his final obligations by filming a couple episodes of Impact Wrestling this week.
