Many were under the impression that he had signed a long term deal with WWE, where he would help the NXT brand before giving it a try on the main roster. Well, reports have now surfaced that the former world heavyweight champion has decided to sign a two year contract with TNA, which means that he will be on Impact Wrestling for the foreseeable future.

During the first episode of Impact Wrestling that aired on POP TV, the former world heavyweight champion came back and celebrated with Bobby Roode. Later on in the night, Roode dropped the King of the Mountain Championship to Eric Young, adding further fuel to the speculation.
