The internet wrestling community was buzzing over rumors that James Storm had attended an NXT event earlier in the month. Well, some further fuel has been added to that particular fire. The former world heavyweight champion is said to be in Orlando today and may have been spotted at the same venue as the Takeover event. Photos have surfaced online of what appears to be Storm entering the facility with developmental trainer, Billy Gunn.

Rumors surfaced over the weekend that James Storm was in attendance at the NXT live event in Nashville. Some even go so far as to say that the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion was actually sitting in the front row. There were also those that said that Storm was watching from the backstage area. To clear up the rumor, he took to social media and let everyone know that he was a bar with his buddy.

James Storm leaves TNA

After more than a dozen years with the company, James Storm has announced through social media that he is leaving TNA. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he finished up his final obligations by filming a couple episodes of Impact Wrestling this week. Storm also stated that he is not done with professional wrestling and will pursue opportunities in other areas.

News broke out earier this week that James Storm and Brutus Magnus were both leaving TNA. Now, there is a bit confusion, as Dixie Carter has stated on social media that both guys will still be working with the company. This should add further fuel to the fire that there is some sort of invasion story line being planned with GFW.

In a rather shocking bit of news, James Storm has asked for his release from TNA, and the company has granted that to him. No word yet on why he made this decision, but there has not been any reports of backstage heat between the former world heavyweight champion and management. It might just be due to the fact that he has not received a push in a while.

It looks like Serena Deeb has finally decided to return to the spotlight. The former WWE diva worked a match at the Impact Wrestling taping. While some believe it might have been a one shot deal, there are those that are under the impression that she has been given a long term deal by TNA. Serena will be joining the cult stable that is led by James Storm.

During Impact Wrestling, TNA ran a controversial segment featuring Mickie James and James Storm. I the goal was to get everyone talking about their promotion, then it worked out beautifully because there are a lot of anger being directed towards them. Management was forced to issue a statement because the internet wrestling community was under the assumption that the character had been killed off. Mickie is in fact still alive and recovering.

Since he has worked in the industry and remains a big fan, Jim Ross likes to discuss things that are currently taking place on television. He is not a big fan of the train segment that TNA did on Impact Wrestling this week. Ross stated that he is a big fan of both Mickie James and James Storm, but he feels that the creative department is giving them really bad material to work with. He also mentioned that he likes where Storm is taking his character.

Jeff Hardy not changing

There was a lot of concern for Jeff Hardy after he did a very painful spot in a match with James Storm. When asked about changing his style, the former WWE champion stated that he is not planning on doing that. Hardy states that he knows his body better than anyone else, and he knows what he is still capable of. The North Carolina native also stated that if he was not able to perform like normal, then he would not stay with TNA.
