Bobby Roode drops KOTM belt

In case you missed Impact Wrestling this week, Bobby Roode dropped the King of the Mountain Championship to Eric Young. The reason for the title change is because TNA wanted to do a Beer Money reunion to spark some interest from their fans. Roode and James Storm are expected to challenge for the tag team championship. They are also expected to be the centerpiece of the tag team division for the time being.

Jim Ross criticizes TNA

Since he has worked in the industry and remains a big fan, Jim Ross likes to discuss things that are currently taking place on television. He is not a big fan of the train segment that TNA did on Impact Wrestling this week. Ross stated that he is a big fan of both Mickie James and James Storm, but he feels that the creative department is giving them really bad material to work with. He also mentioned that he likes where Storm is taking his character.

Jeff Hardy drawing

While there are some fans out there that are bitter at him for leaving WWE, Jeff Hardy still has a large and loyal group of fans. When TNA announced that he was going to be headlining the latest episode of Impact Wrestling in a steel cage match with James Storm, many of those fans made sure to tune in. Hardy helped the company receive an increase in viewership this week. It further solidifies that name value is still the most important trait in wrestling.

James Storm leaving TNA

Rumors have been spreading around about James Storm possibly leaving TNA. As of right now, the speculations are unsubstantiated. Management has been busy negotiating new contracts with the performers. It is virtually impossible for them to be able to sign everyone at once because the negotiations process is lengthier than some fans are aware of. Storm is said to still be in talks with John Gaburick about sticking around.
