While most everyone knows by now that New Japan legend Shinsuke Nakamura signed a contract with WWE, very little is known about the details of the agreement. For what it is worth, Tokyo Sports is reporting that Nakamura signed a three year deal with World Wrestling Entertainment, which would give him plenty of time to prove that he can be a star on the main roster. The company has been desperately seeking international stars.

Some are asking for the Calgary International Airport to be renamed the Stu Hart International Airport in honor of the famous professional wrestling patriarch. Chris Jericho, Natalya and Bret Hart were all made aware of the petition, and they immediately jump on board in support of the idea.

Since he is injured, Randy Orton has been removed from the upcoming WWE tour of Europe. Management had already advertised Orton as being part of the show, so they felt the need to make it up to fans who had already purchased tickets. To do that, the front office booked Alberto Del Rio as a replacement. Del Rio recently returned to World Wrestling Entertainment and is viewed as an international star.

When Alberto Del Rio returned to WWE, the belief was that the promotion had to shell out a good amount of money to bring the former world heavyweight champion back. It has now been confirmed that Del Rio signed a contract with a downside guarantee of $1.45 million. That puts Del Rio near the top of the highest paid performers list. WWE considers Del Rio to be a big international star.

The company is said to be heavily interested in signing the former world heavyweight champion to a contract. The network really thinks that a local star in professional wrestling can draw in viewers from that country. International revenue is going to be vital to the promotion if it cannot secure a new television deal in the United States during the beginning of 2016.

The promotion now has a television deal in England. Fans in that country will now be able to watch Amped thanks to a new deal between Global Force Wrestling and Boulder Creek International. Doing well overseas will help Jarrett leverage the networks in the United States.

In another sign that she is about to transition completely from an in ring performer to a full time trainer, it has now been announced that Sarita will be doing a farewell tour in Japan, a country where she absolutely loved performing in. She has already announced that she is leaving CMLL, her home promotion in Mexico. The international star is supposed to start working for WWE very soon.
