The speculations have been floating around for the past several weeks, but it is sounding more and more likely that Goldberg is going to be involved in a professional kickboxing match sometimes this year. He stated that he has been training since September and that GLORY Kickboxing has already expressed interest. This is the same promotion that tried to arrange for him to do an exhibition fight with Alberto Del Rio, who suffered an injury.

While Eddie Edwards was working vigorously to be able to return from an injury in time for the next taping of Impact Wrestling, TNA opted instead to strip he and Davey Richards of the world tag team championship. The reason for doing that is because the front office does not want to risk either one of them being hurt again. The company views the Wolves as two of their key players in the division, so they want to ensure they stick around.

As some of you may already know, Santino Marella was working on making a comeback to WWE later on this year. The chances of him hitting that goal is not looking very good. With Wrestlemania being less than two weeks away, WWE might need to call an audible with one of the championship matches. There is no timetable for his return yet. His brother Jimmy Uso worked live events by himself.

While reports earlier this week stated that Eddie Edwards was well on the road to recovery and would be returning in time for television, it appears that TNA will be taking the safe approach. At the Impact Wrestling taping on Friday, Edwards and Davey Richards cut a promo and announced that the Wolves were vacating the belt. They cited the real life injury as the reason why. The vacant tag titles will be filled in some manner soon.

Looks like the momentum that Alberto Del Rio had picked up over the last couple of months is about to take a hit. It has now been revealed that he has suffered a torn quad. The injury reportedly took place while he was working a match down in Mexico. Since he did not want to skip out on a scheduled appearance, Del Rio still flew to Connecticut this past weekend and worked a match. He teamed up with Matt Hardy to take on Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson.
