However, he still wanted a way to be involved in the sport. Del Rio has found that way. The former world heavyweight champion has signed on to work as an announcer for a promotion in Mexico.

However, with the promotion likely to fold before the second season gets approved, plans are changing for the masked performer. There are now talks that he is considering a return to WWE. Some are even saying that discussions have already begun.

While he was initially supposed to only work one night during an NXT live event in Brooklyn, it appears that Jushin Liger enjoyed his experience enough to sign a contract with WWE. The legendary performer from Japan has agreed to work a couple of more dates, most likely to be on the developmental brand and not the main roster brand. No word yet on when those dates will take place.

In a bit of news that is sure going to spark some speculation, Sarita has announced that she will be leaving CMLL, her home promotion in Mexico. Her last show for them will be on September 18, which is an anniversary show. Since the woman legally known as Sarah Stock has been helping to train performers in WWE, rumors are saying that she could finally be receiving a full time job with them.

When Alex Shelley worked a live event for ROH last weekend, he was not expecting to shatter his front teeth. Another thing that he wasn't expecting was for the company to pay for the repair. Shelley noted that he was not an official member of the roster, but the company stepped up and took care of him anyways. He also revealed that his friends and family have been urging him to retire from professional wrestling.
