Paul Heyman return delayed

Initially, Paul Heyman was supposed to make his return before Brock Lesnar by working segments with Michael Cole about the story line lawsuit that is taking place. Lots of ideas were being discussed backstage on how to make that happen. However, it appears that WWE could not decide on a good one, as it is now being reported that Heyman is not scheduled to make his return to television until July. That is when Lesnar is scheduled to be back.

WWE has put him in high profile situations, but they need to give him more victories to win over the remaining fans.

The first match for Payback has been announced, and it will be a rematch for the United States Heavyweight Championship. John Cena and Rusev will be engaging in the final chapter of their feud, which was designed to make the latter look like a credible top level performer. Fittingly, it will be an I Quit match. Rumors are floating around that WWE will further the tension by having Lana be the one to wave the white flag for client.

King of the Ring returns

Vince McMahon is still desperately wanting to boost the number of subscribers for the WWE Network, so he has decided to bring back one of the best gimmicks that his company has ever created. The King of the Ring tournament is making a comeback, and it is starting on the next episode of Monday Night Raw. The preliminary rounds will be held on television, but the semifinals and finals will be shown on Tuesday on their online video service.

One name that was off the radar has actually become the biggest name to join. Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett revealed that they were finalizing negotiations, so that the former will be able to help the latter run the company. Considering their combined resumes, this is a major step forward.
