As expected, that led to a good amount of speculation online. It has now been revealed that Balor actually received permission from Triple H to post that via social media. All sides understood that it was lighthearted humor and nothing more. The situation is considered a non issue.

Since the company heavily publicizes it, it is no secret that WWE is working with Komen to help raise awareness for breast cancer. CM Punk, however, has been urging fans to avoid that charitable foundation. The former world heavyweight champion does not think that they are completely honest with the money that gets donated. Punk wants fans to do some research and find a better place to send their money if they want to help.

Critics were already complaining that CM Punk was taking too long to make his debut in UFC. Those complaints are about to be even louder, as the former world heavyweight champion has now suffered some sort of shoulder injury while doing MMA training. That means that his debut match will have to be postponed for a couple of months. Punk does not want to step into the ring until he feels that he is truly ready to compete.

There is some sadness floating around the world of professional wrestling today. Eighteen years ago, we saw the untimely passing of Brian Pillman. He had a heart attack while staying in a hotel room in Minnesota. The former college football player was there to work a pay per view for WWE later on that night. Pillman was 35 years old at the time of his death.

The headache continues for Jimmy Snuka. He is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday. The legendary WWE star is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and third degree murder. Snuka is basically being accused of being involved in the death of his girlfriend back in 1983 when he was a big name star. It should be a long legal battle for the 71 year old, whose health has deteriorated tremendously.

Despite being embroiled in a bit of a controversy with a fan at an independent wrestling show, there appears to be some interest from WWE towards Gunner. The former TNA star stated that it was his dream to work in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world and that there are some talks going on between the two sides. However, he stopped at confirming that they were anywhere close to signing a developmental contract.

For those of you that missed out on seeing Bound For Glory last night, a new world heavyweight champion was crowned by TNA at the pay per view. Matt Hardy defeated Ethan Carter and Drew Galloway in a triple threat match to become the top champion in a major promotion for the very first time. He celebrated with his wife, son and father in the middle of the ring. The event was in his home state of North Carolina.
