Tony Schiavone

Drinking with Ric Flair

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone revealed that the reason why he quit drinking and partying with Ric Flair is because Flair eventually shows his genitals at some point in the night. Schiavone also noted that Flair would be sneaky at times and throw away his drink while no one was looking. That enabled Flair to have a reputation as a party animal without being completely drunk.

AJ Styles

Jushin Liger at MSG

Since WWE treats the live event at Madison Square Garden as a pay per view, rumors surfaced that management had signed Jushin Liger to work the show. While he has indeed signed on to work more dates for the promotion, he will not be in New York City that night. The legend from Japan has already been booked on that date in England, where he will face AJ Styles in a dream match.

Ric Flair

Flair chooses new Horsemen

During his latest podcast interview show, Ric Flair was asked to choose four members of the current WWE roster if the Four Horsemen were to be reborn. His first choice was Dolph Ziggler, whom he says is a great worker. Seth Rollins was his next choice. Flair also chose The Miz because he generates good heel heat. His last choice was Antonio Cesaro, who already has the look of a Horsemen.

Jushin Liger

Breeze vs Liger

Since he did such a good job during the first match, NXT officials are thinking about having Tyler Breeze as the primary opponent for Jushin Liger, who recently signed a new contract with WWE that will see him working additional dates. Finn Balor and Samoa Joe are two other potential candidates to work against the legend from Japan. Main roster guys such as Adrian Neville could be brought down for a match as well.

Kamala

Kamala not underpaid

Earlier in the year, Kamala revealed that he was paid $13,000 for his Summerslam match in 1992 against the Undertaker, who was paid $500,000. He hinted that racism might have played a part in that. Those within WWE are said to have brushed off the comment, noting that one man was a much bigger draw than the other. It is not unusual for performers to be paid differently even though they are working together.

Triple H

NXT London

When Triple H said that he wanted NXT to be something special, he was not kidding. His aggressive business tactics have caught the attention of the entire professional wrestling industry. Despite the brand losing money for WWE, a Takeover special for London has been announced. It will take place in December. The brand will also be doing six shows in various cities in England prior to that special.

Great Khali

Mark Henry to India

Since the company no longer has the expensive services of the Great Khali, they are forced to find other wrestlers to send to India to promote. The latest person to be sent to that country is Mark Henry, and he is on his way there this week. His promotional duties aren't for an upcoming tour, however. He is simply there to bring a little more awareness for WWE since they are televised there.

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar vs Bo Dallas

Whenever WWE does a live event at Madison Square Garden, they treat it like a pay per view, even though it is not always televised. The show is so big that management is even willing to shell out some additional money to Brock Lesnar so that he can make it even more of a special occasion. Rumors are floating around right now that he is going to be wrestling Bo Dallas, but the front office has yet to choose an opponent for that evening.

Adrian Neville

WWE main roster promotion

As some of you already know, NXT performers are paid a whole lot less than their counterparts on the main roster in WWE. They also do not have as much travel expenses since they are not on the road as frequently. When a performer like Kevin Owens or Adrian Neville gets called up to the main roster, the company helps them make the transition by paying for all of their travel expenses for the first three months. They're on their own after that.

Shawn Michaels

Randy Orton reduced schedule

The end of the road could be coming soon for Randy Orton. Reports have surfaced that he requested that WWE reduce his schedule. He no longer wants to do the full schedule because it is too hectic for him. The former world heavyweight champion has been living out of a suitcase for much of the past 13 years. Orton is said to be looking for a part time contract that is similar to what Shawn Michaels used to have.
