Randy Orton yells at fans

A rather disturbing incident took place at an airport in New York last night. After an extensive tour of Europe and long flight, WWE stars were swarmed by fans that were waiting to take photographs and get autographs. Randy Orton wasn't having it. He reportedly yelled and berated people for bothering the performers, who were understandably fatigued. Orton has had several incidents before with the fans, as he feels that privacy should be respected.

Rey Mysterio returning to Mexico

When the tragic incident with Perro Aguayo took place, Rey Mysterio received quite a bit of death threats down in Mexico, so he avoided the country for a bit. He is now preparing to make his return there. Mysterio will return to CRASH next month. He is working a show on May 7, 2015 in Mexicali and a show on May 9, 2015 in Ensenada. A lot of people in the industry will be curious to see how the audience reacts to the masked superstar.

Perro Aguayo memorial

A memorial was held in honor of Perro Aguayo this week. He passed away after an accident in the ring during a match. Konnan, who was the first person to check on Aguayo after the incident, was there in person. Rey Mysterio, however, was not. The belief is that he felt that his presence would be a distraction and might actually upset a couple of people who blame him for the death. Mysterio is currently heading overseas for wrestling show.

Scott Steiner removed

There is a Legends of Wrestling event taking place on June 7, and all eyes will be on that because people want to know if the Scott Steiner rumors are true. There are reports floating around that the promoter of the show decided to pull Steiner after the controversial incident that he had at the airport with the wife of Hulk Hogan. If other promoters follow suit, then that could have quite the adverse affect on his ability to make a living.

Mysterio in Lucha Underground

For those that are wondering, contract negotiations between Rey Mysterio and Lucha Underground are still ongoing despite the tragic incident that took place down in Mexico. Reports have surfaced that Mysterio himself is stating that the two sides are very close to finalizing the contract. The belief is that the negotiations are taking longer than usual because it is not a simple performer contract. Revenue sharing is being discussed.

As many of you are already aware by now, Rikishi purposely did not mention Brian Christopher or Scotty 2 Hotty during his hall of fame induction speech because he has some backstage heat with them over an incident that took place at an independent wrestling show. Well, it turns out that the hatred is even stronger than we initially thought. Reports have surfaced that the big Samoan specifically requested to WWE that they be banned.

Alundra Blayze hall of fame

One of the biggest reasons why WWE opted to forgive Alundra Blayze and induct her into the hall of fame was because people in the front office wanted her to do the bit where she takes the championship belt out of the trash can. The feeling is that management has resented that incident in WCW all this time, and they wanted some closure. Some feel that it is a bit petty because it does not erase what happened in history.

WWE bans Wale

According to the rapper himself, WWE has banned Wale from being involved with their promotion. He feels that this is because he was involved in an incident with a fan at one of the live events. The company itself has not mentioned anything about it. The Washington DC native also told TMZ that he would love to try to smooth things over with Triple H. He also mentioned that his dream job would be working as an assistant for Vince McMahon.

Aces and Eights creator

When asked about why Aces and Eights died down, Devon mentioned that a big reason for their demise was because the creator of the stable was no longer allowed to provide feedback in the creative department. While he refused to mention the name of the person that came up with the idea, the longstanding belief was that it was Eric Bischoff. Not coincidentally, TNA removed Bischoff from the creative department around that point in time.
