While there are some fans out there that are bitter at him for leaving WWE, Jeff Hardy still has a large and loyal group of fans. When TNA announced that he was going to be headlining the latest episode of Impact Wrestling in a steel cage match with James Storm, many of those fans made sure to tune in. Hardy helped the company receive an increase in viewership this week. It further solidifies that name value is still the most important trait in wrestling.

While the move has been well received by the front office, the wrestlers backstage and TNA fans, there hasn't been a lot of buzz about Drew Galloway making his return to the mainstream professional wrestling scene in the United States. Management was hoping that his presence would draw in some WWE fans to Impact Wrestling, but that does not appears to be the case. Galloway is still quite the asset to the promotion, however.

The next series of Impact Wrestling episodes being taped in May should be interesting ones. There are talks that Elijah Burke could be making his return to TNA during that point in time. He even teased it publicly on social media. Burke left the company more than two years ago and has remained active on the independent wrestling circuit. Despite being one of the best talkers in the business, WWE showed no interest in bringing him back on board.

Many are curious to see how much of a push he is going to receive, as some felt that he should have already been a main event performer in this industry by now. His current company wants to start him off a bit slower than what fans would like. There are talks that he will form a tag team with Crimson.

The ECW legend is making a quick comeback to work a hardcore match against Eric Young on an upcoming episode of Impact Wrestling. The segment was said to be quite bloody and brutal, as management wanted to build up Young as a serious heel. It is being said that WWE opted not to use Dreamer at the Royal Rumble because he works for TNA.

Reports have surfaced that Destination America was the one that paid for those advertising spots. When Dixie Carter signed a television deal with Destination America, it was revealed that Impact Wrestling would be moving to Friday nights. The move coincided with WWE announcing that Smackdown was moving to Thursday nights. Many wondered what Vince McMahon was going to do with NXT since it aired on the same night. Reports have now surfaced that the developmental program is being moved to Wednesday night to avoid conflict.

Another person that has been signed to a long term deal is Ethan Carter, the former WWE developmental wrestler who has found himself a new home.
