After TNA Lockdown 2014, Seiya Sanada is sticking around and working a couple of episodes of Impact Wrestling. The belief is that Dixie Carter and company will be giving him a nice push, as management wants to maintain a good business relationship with the Great Muta and Wrestle-1. They also want to entice other Japanese stars to come tour with them.
While it initially appeared that he was going to postpone the knee surgery a couple of more months, there are reports surfacing that Kurt Angle has decided to do it next week. It is being said that he will need a month off, which puts his spot at TNA Lockdown 2014 in jeopardy.
There are those that believe that Kurt Angle desperately needs to take some time off. Reports are suggesting that he needs to have knee surgery very soon. There may be some truth to that, as Angle is currently not advertised to appear at the upcoming TNA Lockdown pay per view.
Even though he is no longer with the company and has started working elsewhere, the belief within TNA is that AJ Styles will be returning in March to work a big match against world heavyweight champion Brutus Magnus at the Lockdown pay per view.
While management has given up on the character, WWE will be keeping Sin Cara around because he is featured in the upcoming Scooby Doo movie. Oficials have no plan on bringing the original performer back, so Hunico will have the role until after the movie has been released.
While the masked superstar is still interested in a return, WWE has expressed very little interest in bringing Sin Cara back now that his contract has expired. The belief is that the company can save a good amount of money by using Hunico instead.
The contract that Sin Cara signed with WWE is set to expire at the end of December, and management is leaning towards letting the performer leave while retaining the rights to utilize the character with Hunico.
Wrestling fans saw the return of Sin Cara on Monday Night Raw this week, but it was actually Hunico under the mask, as WWE is currently having issues with the normal performer.
With his contract expired, Sin Cara is officially gone from WWE. The masked star acknowledges that Hunico has been working under the mask since his departure, and he has been encouraging fans to let the company know that he is missed.
Despite being replaced by Hunico under the mask on WWE shows, the original Sin Cara has still been posting pictures of himself with the mask on Twitter. The company is planning on keeping the character even after his contract expires in a few days.
In a rather strange move, WWE has decided to address internet rumors and released a statement, revealing that Sin Cara is still under contract to the promotion, even though Hunico has been portraying the character as of late.
Hunico and Camacho returned to WWE and taped a match for the Main Event.
