Prince Devitt
Over the last couple of months, there have been plenty of rumors in regards to WWE signing international star Prince Devitt to a contract. Things heated up even more when he left New Japan. Reports are surfacing that the deal has now been reached, and he should be showing up to developmental soon.
July 23, 2014
Brooke Tessmacher
In a sign that the financial situation in TNA is not as bad as many make it out to be, the company has signed new deals with three of their performers. Sam Shaw and Brooke Tessmacher are signed to new multiple year contracts, while international star Seiya Sanada has agreed to a one year deal. There were a lot of concerns about the company when they released several performers, so much of that should be alleviated now that they are signing new deals with their workers.

Kevin Steen
While he has already said his farewell to Ring of Honor fans, Kevin Steen is reportedly not under contract to WWE just yet. Word has it that he has yet to complete the medical testing that the company requires all new performers to undergo before signing a deal. If there are any lingering injuries, then there is a chance that Steen might not be picked up by the WWE developmental program.

When LeiD Tapa was released by TNA back in March, there were rumors that she might be a candidate to join the WWE developmental program. However, the company has shown very little interest thus far. In fact, she has not even been invited for a tryout yet. While some are citing her lack of experience, which she is trying to fix by working with OVW, many are pointing out that WWE has had no qualms with signing female performers who have absolutely no experience in the wrestling industry before.

Samoa Joe
Some rumors are floating around this weekend that WWE is trying to sign Samoa Joe. The source of the speculations is said to be due to the fact that Triple H briefly followed Joe on Twitter. Sources are saying that Joe followed HHH back on the social media site, which means that they had the option for two way communications for a period of time this weekend. WWE has long avoided the signing of Joe, so this would be quite an interesting move if true.

Names like Kevin Steen, Prince Devitt and Kenta Kobayashi have surfaced as potential candidates to join the company later on this year. She received a tryout with the company back in March but no contract has been offered.

He received a bit of a pop as he came back to save Eric Young and Bully Ray from an attack by MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley in the final segment of the show.
