Sting not retiring

While the media is under the impression that Sting has retired as an in ring performer, the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion feels differently. When asked by TMZ about his status, the man legally known as Steve Borden flat out stated that he was not retired. He didn't stick around long enough to answer any follow up questions, so his status for Wrestlemania 32 is still unknown. Sting also refused to answer a question about Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan wins Gawker case

It didn't take very long for the trial to come to a verdict, but Hulk Hogan has just received the biggest victory of his life, much bigger than beating Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania 3. A jury has determined that Gawker was in the wrong for allowing footage from a Hogan sex tape to go public. Hogan felt that he was wrongfully taped while having sex with the wife of Bubba the Love Sponge, a former close friend of his.

WWE wants costumes

In a rather interesting move, WWE is now encouraging fans that attend live events to dress up as their favorite wrestlers and legends. This comes shortly after Vince McMahon grew irate over Dwayne Johnson breaking away from the script on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw and putting focus on fans that were dressed as Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan, the latter of which has been banned from the company because of racial comments.

nWo induction

When asked by Noelle Foley during a recent interview about which members of the nWo should be at the induction ceremony when the group gets honored, Kevin Nash stated that it should just be the original four, which consists of he, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. Nash feels that Waltman deserves to be honored because he represented the New World Order at live events since Hogan did not work those shows.

Dwayne Johnson

Backstage heat on Dwayne Johnson

When Dwayne Johnson made his cameo appearance on Monday Night Raw, he entertained the audience by going off script and endorsing a couple of fans that were dressed like WWE legends. One of them was dressed as Hulk Hogan, a person that Vince McMahon is avoiding right now because they do not want to be associated with the bad publicity. McMahon was said to be infuriated by the moment, but he knows that he still needs Johnson.

Rumors are floating around that Hulk Hogan could be brought back to WWE before Wrestlemania 32 rolls around. The belief is that the company is trying to stack as many big names as possible with John Cena on the sidelines. Some are concerned that bringing Hogan back will result in backlash from the media, while others believe that all has been forgiven. Hogan will more than likely be making an appearance.

Andre the Giant

Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 3

In a rather interesting bit of trivia, the last time that Hulk Hogan successfully defended the WWE Heavyweight Championship was at Wrestlemania 3 during his legendary match against Andre the Giant. Many are under the assumption that successful title defenses at the biggest pay per view of the year were a more frequent occurrence for Hogan but they're not.
