Much has been discussed about the rumored backstage heat between Vince McMahon and Steve Austin as of late. We might know what initially started the friction between the two. Austin revealed in an interview with Sports Illustrated that WWE lied to him during his last appearance at Wrestlemania. He was promised that he would be the last to come out during his segment with Hulk Hogan, but they gave that honor to The Rock instead.

It appears that WWE has called in some heavy hitters to make up for the loss of Steve Austin on the next season of Tough Enough. Chris Jericho has finally been announced as the host. He will be joined by a panel consisting of Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige. Not only that, the trainers are going to be Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. There will be guest appearances made on the show by Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and John Cena.

While the company has not made an official announcement yet, you can bet the farm that Hulk Hogan will more than likely be at Wrestlemania this week. At the very least, he will be around to do some signings and appearances during the week. WWE wants him to make an appearance at the pay per view as well, but as of right now, they have yet to come up with an idea for him because they are focused on building up the actual card first.

Initially, Kevin Nash was to have been a big part of the promotional campaign for the Royal Rumble, having been scheduled to make an appearance alongside Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan on the episode of Monday Night Raw before the pay per view. However, with his arrest, it appears that WWE officials have opted to remove him from the event. They are going about it quietly, though, as to not generate any more publicity from the situation.
